Similar to other reviews. When I volume up/down with my Xfinity remote, it skips a level or two. Using the remote with the S4 works better. Setup was easy using HDMI (eARC). Sounds really good.
Pros: Easy setup Sounds good Can plug in turntable directly to 3.5 input with the correct cord
Cons: Volume control via Xfinity remote not as accurate as I would like

A great system for the prize. My wife got annoyed by our old sound bar at not being able to change levels. This dound bar has mitigated that problem!

The sound has been great. Our TV is an older Toshiba and it only has 3 HDMI slots which are used for other device connections, so we are using the provided optical cable. I think that may be the reason we have echoing occurring with the TV's speakers and the sound bar. I haven't had a chance to play with this other than muting the TV speakers so that we only have the sound bar in use.

Great sound at a great price

This is a great sound bar. The dialog is clear and the bass is enough to be effective. The wireless sub is great, you can put it anywhere in the room. I have it in a small room and it sounds great. Also very easy to set up. The settings are few and simple, but they work well.

The sound bar and sub system really stepped up our television audio. Television dialog is much clearer and audible at a lower volume level. Movie audio greatly improved. Really like the separate bass control on remote. On/off and volume work through existing cable remote. Installation was very simple. Very pleased with this system.

Pros: Simple to set up. Easy to interface with existing equipment. Great sound...Deep ,rich, full at low volume levels. A 3.5mm audio in jack makes interfacing with my gaming PC a breeze. Cons: No availability to add rear surround speakers.

Very nice sounding sound bar, sounds better the more you use it. Dolby Atmos sounds nice but could be more pronounced, but overall worth every penny. Very simple to setup out of the box. But for the price, you can't beat it IMO.
Pros: Easy and great sound. You could spend more and not get this nice of sound
Cons: No Bluetooth, not expandable, subwoofer bass is there but could use a boost, but glad it has a one in this price range.

Connections were very easy. Sound is crisp and clear. Good value. Delivers enough base without overpowering the remaining audio.
Pros: Good value. Will create satisfaction for the majority of people looking to increase their enjoyment of the television.

No good sound quality

For the price point this sound bar does not meet expectations. They quality of sound is not crisp compared to the Sony A80J. Technical issue I would turn off my TV but the audio wouldn't turn on. I would have to go to audio settings change to TV speakers then switch back to external speakers. Contacted Polk never got a response back. I'm returning this back. If they would like to help me let's try again by delivering a new soundbar with extra speakers to put around the house. I also contacted the other retailer no response to exchange hdmi 8K cable to see if that was the issue. No real help from, but only Crutchfield who are outstanding and attentive.
Pros: Solid build is at the low end speakers not a mid sound bar with Sonos and Bose.
Cons: Lacks sound quality. Can't add extra speakers.

Signa S4 - Big Step-

Got the S4 to improve the sound on my new 50" Samsung 8000 Series TV. Big improvement over the Samsung stock speakers! The Quick Start manual included with the S4 could have used a few more details. Voice sync on initial setup was poor, but that turned out to be a problem with the TV "Expert Settings". Once I adjusted the "Audio Output Delay" setting, everything was fine. I recommend using HDMI-ARC connection if you can. Don't expect this to sound as good as the IMAX Theater speakers! Signa S4 is a $300 soundbar, not a $1000+ unit.

The voice enhancer feature make this stand out among the competition, especially if you have some hearing loss and conversation gets lost with the rest of the background noise. I should have bought this long ago. No more asking my wife "what'd they say?"

I purchased this soundbar for my mom. After a very easy set up and watching a few shows, she gave it 2 thumbs up. The voice + button option is really nice. Works well. Music button option makes music sound decent for a soundbar output. The only con for me (And it's a small one.) is the size of the subwoofer.

PROS: easy connectivity, Subwoofer is wireless so can be moved around to find the sweet spot., audio quality is good when up mixing audio, excels with 5.1, atmos sources (if connecting from game console or STB, make sure sound is set to 'bitstream out', and tv settings need to be set to dolby digital (via ARC hdmi port) for 5.1 and dolby digital+ for atmos. If you have an eARC port on your tv, even better as its loss less.)., Height channels really shine despite having vaulted ceilings and not 7'-12' flat ceilings. To judge audio quality perfectly, you need an ideal room (ceiling, material of ceiling, wall, size, distance from bouncing sounds, etc.) so it's hard to pinpoint exactly how good this soundbar can be. CONS: comes with limited instructions, lack of features. Bottom line: if you're looking for a solid soundbar for good surround sound, and dont care about bells and whistles, you cant go wrong. I give it a 4/5.
