My wife bought me this amp for Christmas I paired it with the mtx Terminator dual 12 in factory box. I don't get that deep pounding bass I wanted and it seems no amount of fiddling with settings can I either now its struggling with shutting off in protection mode I was surprised as I've always loved infinity kappa speakers and feel let down by this amps performance overall

Not impressed. This replaced a Alpine m500, and it was noticably less powerful! I was quite surprised, as I thought per the specs the Kappa would destroy the Alpine, but no matter what settings I adjusted it just isn't putting out the same power. I used both amps in the exact same setup. I've had good success with Kappa speakers and this is first time using their amps, but sadly not impressed.

I can highly recommend this product because I never had any issues with running my JL w6 12 inch in sealed enclosure. The bass knob is a must and works very good with this amp. Make sure to actually read the manual to ensure wiring is correct depending if your running single subwoofer or dual subs. The amp is well made and heavy. The sound quality is very good. The size is reasonable not too big but also not small. It fit under my passenger seat. Overall a nice amp does it's job and is reliable. Results with JL w6 were very good.
