System Overview: The Infinity Perfect 4-Speaker Audio System (INFKP4SPKSYS) is designed specifically for mounting in select 2014-2022 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, Ultra Limited, and Road Glide motorcycles equipped with factory fairings and saddlebags. The audio system includes a Kappa Perfect KP5004 4-channel amplifier; a pair of Infinity Kappa Perfect 600X 6.5" front speakers; a pair of Infinity Kappa Perfect 900X 6x9" rear speakers; along with speaker grilles, amplifier mounting hardware, and vehicle-specific Saddle Tramp wiring harnesses that let you plug directly into the factory wiring with no splicing.

Compatibility: The Infinity Perfect 4-speaker Audio System is designed specifically for mounting in the following Harley-Davidson motorcycles equipped with a factory fairing and saddlebags:

DSP Interface: The Infinity Perfect 4-Speaker Audio System includes a Saddle Tramp BC-DSPX-HD2 interface module and corresponding T-harness for interfacing the factory wiring. Harley-Davidson factory radios use pre-programmed crossover and equalization settings for use with the factory speakers. These settings restrict the audio quality when adding aftermarket equipment. The DSP interface reprograms the factory radio to output a flat frequency response curve for the new audio components.

4-Channel Amplifier

4-Channel Design: The Infinity Kappa Perfect 4-Channel Amplifier (KP5004) is designed to provide 75W RMS x 4 channels @4Ω, 125W RMS x 4 channels @2Ω, and 250W RMS x 2 channel bridged @ 4Ω.

Compact Size: The KP5004 amplifier is housed in a compact chassis with a small footprint, allowing it to fit in more vehicles where mounting space is limited.

Class D Design: The Infinity KP5004 features class D amp topology, providing efficiency and low-power consumption with high signal output.

Control Panel: The control panel is located on the input side of the amp. Two cover plates are included, one for each end of the amp, helping keep the controls dry while preventing unwanted adjustments. Controls include:

• Input Level: A 2-position switch; select High (speaker level) or Low (preamp level).
• Level: Two rotary controls; adjusts the level of the input signals for the Front and Rear channels.
• Crossovers:
  • Front X-Over (HPF): A 3-position switch; select a High Pass frequency; 60Hz, 80Hz, 120Hz, or Off.
  • Rear X-Over: A 3-position switch; select High Pass, Off (full-range), or Low Pass.
  • Frequency: A 3-position switch; select 60 Hz, 80 Hz, or 120 Hz.

Connections: All of the KP5004 input and output connections consist of wires terminated in Molex plugs. Matching adapter harness (sold separately) can be used to mate up with the plugs. Alternatively, the plugs can be cut off and a bare-wire connection made by soldering or using crimp connectors.

• Audio Inputs: A 6.5" input harness features 18-gauge wire terminated in two 4-pin plugs (front/rear). The inputs can accommodate low-level (RCA) or high-level signals. High-level (speaker-level) connections can be spliced wire to wire, while low-level signals will require a speaker wire-to-RCA adapter such as the 46KISL or XD-CLRAIC2-SW (both sold separately) for connection if running RCA cables to the amplifier.

  Note: The Infinity KP5004 does not include RCA input jacks.

• Power/Ground/Remote: An 8.5" harness provides the connections for the 14-gauge power and ground wires, along with a 16-gauge remote turn-on wire (if using low-level input signals). The power wire includes an inline 40A ATO fuse, along with a spare fuse.

  Note: An 8-gauge amplifier wiring kit will be required for powering the amp and is sold separately.

• Speaker Outputs: Two 8.5" harnesses provides the four 14-gauge speaker outputs. Two sets of channels can also be bridged, using the Left+ and Right-, for two 250W outputs (@4Ω).

Auto Turn-on: When using speaker level inputs, the DC offset circuit in the amp senses when a signal is present and turns the amp on automatically.

Protection Circuitry: The amp features 4-way protection, and will shut itself down in the following cases:

• Temperature: Amplifier is overheated.
• Over/Under Voltage: Voltage at the +12V (Battery) terminal is less than 9V or more than 16V.
• Short Circuit: Short circuit in speaker or speaker wire.
• DC Voltage: DC Voltage on the speaker outputs.

Power and Protection LEDs: The amplifier features a Power/Protection LED on the input side of the unit. The LED illuminates Green when the amplifier is supplied power, and will illuminate Red when the amplifier goes into protect-mode.

Front 6.5" Speakers

Grilles: The Kappa Perfect 600X speakers include three sets of grilles to fit multiple Harley-Davidson applications, fairing and Tour-Pak locations.

Neodymium Magnets: To reduce their weight, and not raise the motorcycle's center of gravity, both the woofers and tweeters use neodymium magnets.

Tweeter Mounting Options: Each tweeter is bridge mounted so there's no opening in the center of the woofer cone, making the speaker more weather resistant. The tweeters can also be removed and surface mounted using the included adapters.

Tweeter Dimensions:

Crossover: The crossovers are wired in-line between the factory harnesses and the speakers. The 8" input wires mate to the included Saddle Tramp Speaker Y-Harness that interfaces the factory wiring, so cutting the factory wiring is not necessary. The 8" woofer and tweeter outputs plug into the terminals on the speaker frames. When mounting the tweeters separately, the crossovers' tweeter output wires plug into the 8" wires attached to the surface mount housings. The crossovers are approximately 7/8" wide x 1/2" tall x 1-3/4" long.

Rear 6x9 Speakers

Mounting: The included templates guide cutting the opening in each saddlebag lid. The grille and mounting bracket are bolted together with the saddlebag lid sandwiched between them, then the speaker is mounted to the bottom of the bracket.

Crossover: The crossovers' 8" input wires are terminated with male quick slides, 0.25" positive and 0.187" negative. The 8" woofer and tweeter outputs plug into the terminals on the speaker frames. When mounting the tweeters separately, the crossovers' tweeter output wires plug into the 8" wires attached to the surface mount housings. The crossovers are approximately ?" wide x ½" tall x 1¾" long.
