Great stock replacement/upgrade
Austin from Hahira, GA on 7/9/2025
2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
Got these to install in my wife's 2002 trailblazer. The old speakers were on their way out, so these are definitely an upgrade. Clear, Crisp, and Louder for sure. Did not buy specifically for bass, but can tell an improvement there as well. The install instructions provided by Crutchfield made the process an absolute breeze as well as the harness adapters so I didn't have to cut, crimp, or solder.
Pros: cost effective upgrade

Great upgrade from factory
Mike from Midland, NC on 6/23/2025
2017 Subaru Crosstrek
Replaced the speakers in my niece's Subaru with four of these. They fit perfectly, sound great and make the factory radio seem better than it really is. Highs to lows, they perform well with enough bass to notice a reasonable bump(nothing replaces a good sub) and the mids, vocals and highs still shining trough nicely. Made a niece very happy.
Pros: Good fit, well made, nice sound overall

Decent upgrade but nothing amazing
Sherman from Malone, NY on 3/27/2025
I think they are much better than the stock speakers, but they don't seem as powerful for some reason. The clarity is amazing though. They are rated at 45 watts and my deck outputs 50x4 so it should be louder with the Inifinitys. Maybe I was expecting more from a budget set of speakers. I'm going to install sound deadening in all 4 doors, maybe that will be the final touch.
Pros: Clarity is great, bass and mids are decent
Cons: They don't seem to be very loud. After about half volume they don't get much louder.

Meh. Not the best. Definitely something you would use for highs only. They can handle some power and produce accurate sound, but it's basically a tweeter. I expected much more range. I know they're not expensive but I have installed cheaper brands and gotten the same sound quality for half the price. The Infinity name has been diluted, like many others. It was a big job installing these so they're here to stay, but I would not buy again.
Pros: Brand name

I installed these speakers in the front doors of a Lexus RX350. The sound is good, but the bass is somewhat lacking. The bass sounds good until I turn the sound up. At that point, the bass cracks. It would probably sound better if I installed an amplifier, but I had previously purchased a pair of Rockford Fosgate RX165X3 speakers for a different RX350 and have not had any issues with the bass overloading with the volume turned up. I would love to return the Infinity Primus and get another set of Rockford Fosgate, but I already threw out all the packaging for the Infinity speakers.
Pros: Good sound and a very reasonable price.
Cons: Poor bass output. Easily overloads when volume is turned up. Would definitely recommend Rockford Fosgate RX165X3 instead, even though it costs more. It's definitely worth the extra $$.

Better than stock

2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid
These are a fine upgrade to the stock factory speakers in my 2022 Tucson Hybrid Convenience SEL. I replaced the front door speakers with the 603CF as well and all are driven by a Kicker Key 200.4 DSP amp installed and set up by a pro (NOT me). The installer's opinion was that the 603 can be 'a bit skreechy' but I listen tho Grado headphones and Klipsch home theatre, so I like a mid -forward presentation. Hearing vocals over road noise is also important to me.

Installed these in the front doors of a '23 Elantra. They are a significant upgrade from stock. They are much more clear and I can turn them up higher without experiencing any distortion. I am running them off the stock head unit. An added bonus that I appreciated was the harness they supplied so I didn't have to cut/splice the stock harness and therefore keeping the stock tweeter in line as well. I'm glad I called and talked to Rex because I was way off on what I needed and he got me what I needed for way less than I expected to pay.

I bought these due to their high sensitivity to run off my factory head unit. I've used the JBL clubs for this in the past. The infinity set is louder with a more active tweeter. The JBLs are definitely punchier. If you are adding a sub, I like these a lot. Otherwise, might go with something with a little more low end. For the price, pretty hard to beat though

2021 Nissan Rogue
I've had my 2021 Nissan Rogue for about month and the stock stereo is underwhelming at best. I didn't want to go crazy but wanted to improve the sound so it wasn't so muddled. A couple of local shops told me I needed amps, new speakers, etc. but I thought for sure a set of decent speakers would get me where I wanted to be. Being a 2 ohm system I was pretty limited but thankfully I found these 3 ohm speakers that worked just fine. I hadn't noticed how little sound the backseats got until I read about it and actually sat back there. These made a huge difference. I'm not sure if they are just more efficient or what the deal is, but they are a lot louder and richer....then again if you've seen the stock speakers I guess it's not a surprise. It's much, much clearer now! I have the treble and bass both higher than I did with the stock speakers and they handle it very well. There isn't a ton of bass, but I knew there wouldn't be. That said, it is clearer and more punch less boom.
Pros: Great sound Easy to install Great price
Cons: None so far
