High highs, maybe too high for some.

2006 Honda Pilot
2006 Honda Pilot, replace factory tweeters, stock amplifier. Infinity has always made some high, clear tweeters, these are no exception. They come with in line crossovers, very easy Installation. I'm only taking off a star because I find the sound to be just a little harsher sounding than past Infinity tweeters I've owned. Perhaps with more power, or with an EQ they would sound better, but just going into a stock setup, if the high highs are what you're after, they're still good. In my opinion Polks or CS kickers would be more balanced. Side note, I would use Home Depot straps sold in a roll, vs the Crutchfield straps, which I found to be very stiff and difficult to mold into the shape I wanted. I eventually got it to go but I spent a long time getting the shape correct. At the end of the day, I'm not going to replace or exchange them, I just went -1 on the treble and I'm fine with that for the family SUV.
Pros: Come with in line crossovers, high sensitivity (match them with other Infinity speakers or they might be too forward), they installed in the stock tweeter location without modifying the car, came with surface or stock mounting hardware and brackets.
Cons: Some busy pop or electronic music sounds harsh unless you dial down then treble.

New highs!

We replaced our old factory tweeters on our 2008 Colorado crewcab with these and man it sounds so good! We ended up using a hot glue gun to secure them in the door panel and it worked great! All the hardware Crutchfield has also allows for a quick clean installation.
Pros: Improved highs!
Cons: None

I love silk dome tweeters
Brian from PISCATAWAY, NJ on 5/10/2025
2019 Kia Soul
I love silk dome tweeters and dislike hard dome tweeters. I bought two pairs of these - one pair to replace the factory tweeters in the dash, and one pair for the rear doors. They sound much better than the factory tweeters. The factory ones were harsh. These put out smooth highs, like a silk dome tweeter is supposed to do. I used some metal plumbing strap from Ace Hardware to make a bracket for the front. They fit under the factory grilles. I surface mounted them in the rear doors - even though Crutchfield's website says they won't fit in the rear doors of a 2019 Kia Soul with the Harmon Kardon audio system - but they fit easily in several locations on the doors. I also bought a 12" sub, amp, box, capacitor, etc. I am waiting for new midrange speakers for the doors. I am so happy so far!

The tweezers were easy to install. I ended up taking the eight pillars completely out so I could do some wire organization on the backside of the pillar. That's just a personal preference of mine even though it didn't call for it. They sound amazing and the highs are crystal clear.

Installed in 2007 gmc Sierra with bose system. Thought the new Kenwood receiver I just installed would clean up the factory tweeters enough for me with the EQ but didn't to my liking. Installed these and made a world of difference. 2nd set of infinity tweeters in 2 of my vehicles and I'm sold on the clarity and crisp highs.
Pros: Great sound without a real amp and clear crisp highs
Cons: None

Silky Smooth Slik Domes

2021 Ford F-150
Silk tweeters are smooth sounding, especially in an environment already filled with "hard" objects/surfaces like dashboards, windows, plastics etc. As basic as these tweeters are, they sound nice and smooth, really cutting -back on the harshness of the factory tweeters they replaced - thanks Crutchfield and Infinity!
Pros: Value and performance is spot on.
Cons: There are none.

Speakers are fine with the rest of the factory speakers. Had to find different mounting hardware to have them mount to the factory attachment point. There were two suppressors that could not be used as there was no room unless you wanted to replace the factory wiring to the factory radio. This was to be a simple replacement of the factory speakers that had blown on a vehicle with 160,000 miles on it so one didn't have to hear static in the tremble zone. Extra wires and connectors were sent which were not needed for the installation I performed.

Cons: Alot of adapting between factory and aftermarket parts

Incredible upgrade over the stock 1" tweeters! The original dash tweeters were too muddy near the top end and just harsh in general while these Infinity tweeters are crisp even from the back seats that only have door speakers. For my car, I put foam tape on the surface mounts and then hot-glued them into the grilles for a factory look. I didn't want to cut into the factory wires so I bought RED WOLF brand adapters from another site to splice into the crossovers.

Awesome, great sound and value. Wish the instructions would have told me that the in line filter has to be installed with or without an amp. Had to call
Pros: Value, quality
Cons: Instructions need more instruction in not only English, but all the other dialects.
