These Infinity REF-3032cfx were exactly as advertised! They brightened up the lackluster highs in my Dodge Challenger and they were plug play. Don't forget the bass blockers that CF will set you up with as well as the pigtails for your car so that you don't have to cut into your cars wiring harness. Crutchfield customer service was second to none as usual!

Easy Upgrade, Major Improvement

Simple, significant upgrade from the dull, muted mids and highs from the factory Alpine system in my 2020 Ram 1500. I pulled the factory speakers and cut out the fabric speaker grill to get a look at the drivers. They are basically midrange component drivers with no tweeter or even a whizzer cone. No wonder the factory highs were so dull and muted. I posted a pic for reference. Note that the Infinity's are also a direct fit replacement for the factory Alpine center speaker. The crutchfield guide doesn't show these as fitting, but they drop right into the center speaker location. This allows you to have all three front speakers matching for a solid soundstage. Big improvement for not much money.

Replacement

Direct fit for 2021 Rav4Prime (non-JBL) corner dash. Great sound, and Capacitors sent with order to block Bass signal these speakers can't handle. Instructions provided gave me enough info to do the wiring myself. Replaced all 6 speakers to improve sound quality. Did the trick.

2016 Outback factory speaker upgrade

After replacing the front door, rear door and cargo area speaker, I did not notice much improvement in overall sound. On a whim, I decided to swap out the dash speakers and these infinity units. Absolutely changed the equation! They are bright and add a richness in sound to the other components. It was a great addition and cost only about 150 bucks.

OEM are junk

Installed into 2020 Mustang. Tight fit into OEM location, but well worth it. OEM are 8 ohm! We found it easier to put the new speaker into the factory braket and then install into the door. Had to widen the notch in the braket for wires to fit well. A lot sound in that small space.

So Much Better Than The OEM Speakers

I can't say enough nice things about these speakers. I purchased them to replace the outboard dash speakers in my Dodge Ram pickup. I now hear high frequencies I've never heard before. The tweeters don't sound sharp or tinny. The highs are presented very smooth and full. Very easy on the ears. Having only low-frequency speakers installed, from the factory, in the front doors, the outboard dash speakers produce the mid-range frequencies for the front passengers. WOW!!! What a difference. Music is so much fuller. The midrange is so much more pronounced, clear, and full. I am very pleased with these speakers.

This speaker is leagues above the factory dash speaker in a Prius. There is better range and clarity and the sound seems fuller. Instrumental music in particular sounds better. Vocals are also not thin like the stock speakers.

Tried &True Infinity Reference - Great Sound

Excellent upgrade for Subaru Crosstrek

I installed these Infinity Reference 3.5" speakers in my 2023 Subaru Crosstrek Limited (non-HK equipped) along with the matching Infinity Reference 6x9" speakers in the front doors and 6.5" speakers in the rear doors. Even without adding an aftermarket amplifier, the sound quality has been transformed. The clarity of these 3.5s is outstanding, and music sounds a lot more "three-dimensional" in the cabin. Fantastic upgrade!

Installed on a 2011 ram 3500 with factory system and never realized that the dash speakers played such a big role in these trucks. Sounds amazing as is definitely worth the upgrade! 2017 Charger R/T

Much better sounding than the cheap Alpine speakers. Replaced the dash speakers with these and infinity reference 6x9s in the doors and rear deck. They can be a bit bright at higher volumes, but I've been dropping the treble down a bit, the complete opposite of the stock speakers cause I could barely hear it lol.

Very easy to install in my Jeep Gladiator. My truck has the factory 8.4" Alpine setup, and these speakers are still a modest upgrade for the price. Factory system is 2ohms, and these are 3ohms. Trebles are a bit clearer. Factory speakers are more bass heavy, and needed a slight boost, which these added.

Easy Way to Upgade Stock System

Bought these to improve on the six speaker stock system on a 2023 RAV4 Hybrid - front dash speakers. The stock speakers were flyweight tweeters. These add a considerable depth to the stock system. Install took 30 minutes or the pair. Pop out the grill, remove two 10mm screws, and release the wiring harness clip. Crutchfield provided the harness ( a lot longer, so be prepared to tuck a good bit of wiring), attach to the new speakers and reinsert the two screws on each side. Voila. For such a nominal investment and so much of an improvement in sound quality, this should be a no brainer. One, two, three, done!

Worth it!!

The sensitivity on these Infinity speakers is WORLDS better than the stock paper garbage speakers. Highs are bright but not overpowering, and unless you install the included low-end capacitor, they produce a shocking amount if mid and low range. Excellent choice for the dash!!

Amazing!!!

Not so easy to install. Need right angle Philips screwdriver, the speakers came with a capacitor to install. It worked better to solder the connections. The location of the speakers for the replacement was the dash.

Decent bang for the buck. Needs a hpf I think..

It's a decent speaker for the money. I don't currently have it playing through a high pass filter of any sort and I think that's really killing the sound quality that I'm getting. It does ok but I think it'll perform best with a high pass filter at least 80hz and up.

Great difference from factory

The speakers sound fantastic, of course they are not for bass use, but overall they can handle all ranges. They did not fit my jeep jl roll bar 3.5 inch, but fit the front corners with a slight adjustment of the connectors. Big difference.

Great sound for the size

Seems to be of great quality. Great sale price also. Sounds very crisp compared to the original oem dash speaker. It comes with an optional bass-blocker if you decide to install it and even the gaskets for under the speaker to prevent rattling. The only item in question is that it does not have a typical gasket where the rubber surround meets the metal speaker framing. I guess if it's adhered strong enough it won't be an issue but I'm used to an overlapped gasket.

Infinity Setup in my 2022 Camry

Love the REF-3032cfx, fits my 2022 Toyota Camry front window inserts, compliments the four REF-6532ex 6 1/2 speakers in my doors. The sensitivity of the speaker allows for it to connect directly with the factory radio. The sound is more pronounced, much cleaner high-to-mid. Installed the Infinity Primus 6004a 4-channel amp to compliment the entire speaker setup which enabled me to dial-in the high pass filter on all six speakers. I sings now!

These have a very sensitive tweeter that causes you to only hear that and only that. They get very bright and will cause fatigue depending on their mounting location near your head (upper rear door, windshield etc.) I ended up literally cutting the tweeters wire terminal, worked perfectly but i shouldn't have to ruin new speakers.

Installed these pair on a dash corner of a 2022 Rav4 and holy cow, what a difference. With OE dash speaker being a tweeter only, system wouldn't get loud and started to disort at a relatively mid volume. With these speakers being sensitive, they can get loud with almost no distortion. Fitment was excellent, used the original screws and fit in the area no problem.

Perfect Upgrade for a RAV4

Awesome bang for buck. Installed in dash spots of a 2019 Rav4 XLE, easy install with included harness - hardest part was shoving all the wires around to get the speaker back in. Great mids and highs, makes me want to grab a sub for the full experience.

2020 Jeep Gladiator speaker upgrade

I am absolutely shocked about how much difference these little speakers make. I replaced all six speakers in my Gladiator with Infinity Reference all the way around. Each set significantly improved the sound. However, these little speakers made all the difference in the world. Clean, crisp highs. My Jeep sounds fantastic! They also only took 15 minutes to install. Highly recommend.

Great Sound but need Bass Blockers

Speakers are really nice and sound great. You will have to use a Bass Blocker as they become very stressed when turning up the volume. I did order them with 300 hz Blockers and they were not sufficient. So, if you order them get the 600s. I ended up returning them and go with the 3.5 Kenwood Excelon; they are coming with the proper Bass Blockers and provide a great sound without distortion and really amplify the highs.

A perfect match

I could not stand the sound of the system in my new rav 4 hybrid. My advisor recommended the infinity reference based on my listening habits (louder than necessary) and nailed it. Replaced my factory dash speakers with these in my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Even though they say these 3.5 Reference speakers will not fit, they do. Installation was a breeze, it took less than 20 minutes with no modifications to the bracket that some are saying you have to do; factory grill covers sit completely flush as well. I used the 72-7902 speaker harness that plugs directly into the factory ones, along with 600hz bass blockers. These speakers make a complete difference without being too harsh. Highs are crisp, and the mid range is exceptional for a 3.5 coaxial. I am very pleased, and highly recommend them if you are looking for an upgrade that wont need external amplification.

Absolutely wonderful speakers, I'm a Rockford fosgate guy when it comes to amps and subwoofers, but I love infinity for panel speakers they are very clear and crips, and complement my system very well, if you are using these for dash replacement of stock speakers do yourself a favor and put up to a 4000-6000hz resistor these bad boys and you'll be very happy they are not meant for bass

2022 Cadillac CT4 Center Dash Speaker Swap

Not much information out there about folks modifying 2022 Cadillac CT4 stock speakers. Mine does not have the Bose system. Could not justify the extra cost. The first speaker to get changed with mine was the center speaker. There is no wire harness, so I had to cut off the connector and splice (which I don't like doing). The factory wiring is fairly short. Honestly, not too much difference in sound with the Infinity - maybe at higher volumes. Phone calls sound better. I used in-line blue connectors and some extra wire I had from a previous install (I added about five extra inches of wire). Was planning on trying to re-use the factory connector but thought better of it because it was going to be too much work (and the connector is oddly shaped). I would never put a factory paper replacement back if the Infinity gives out. The wiring chart Crutchfield supplied was spot on regarding color and positive - negative. Maverick (my advisor) was great. I will post more reviews with the other replacements when completed.
