These Infinity speakers offer larger magnets than most factory speakers for bigger, better sound.

Infinity's famous ingredients

Reference Series speakers deliver powerful sound every mile you drive, thanks to oversized polypropylene woofer cones with durable hi-roll rubber surrounds. The cones move more air than other speakers of similar size, adding plenty of punch to the speaker's impressive performance. The 1/2" textile balanced-dome tweeters deliver clear and smooth highs, for a sound that's definitively Infinity.

Excellent power-handling

These speakers will blossom when powered by an external amplifier, but they're also sensitive enough to be a good match for a factory or aftermarket stereo. Plus, Infinity has come up with a safe way to get a little more power out of your system — these 3-ohm speakers work in combination with the speaker wire in your car so your car stereo sees a true 4-ohm impedance.

Note: grilles are not included; these speakers are designed to fit behind factory grilles or panels in most applications.

Features

Plus One+ Woofer Cones: Each speaker uses a cone larger than other speakers of the same size. This is accomplished by using a unique basket design and hi-roll surround. The Plus One+ design offers greater bass output and an increase in efficiency.

High-Output Design: The 3Ω voice coil design compensates for the high in-line resistance of small gauge factory wiring, extracting more power from factory (or aftermarket) receivers.

Howdy, The original center dash speaker on my 2014 Lexus ES300h with nav and not Mark Levinson is a 5 ohm speaker. This speaker is listed as 4ohm. Am I risking damage or sound quality by installing this reference speaker with different impedance? Thank You !

Hey Mike, when you end up putting a speaker with a bit lower impedance like that in, that typically reduces the resistance between the speaker and the headunit itself which will result in a bit more volume from your speaker. Being that the jump is only 1-ohm, we do not risk any damage to any components.
