2017 Ram 1500
These speakers are great sounding speakers. I installed these in my 2017 Ram. They are hooked up to my stock radio (non-alpine system). I am more than impressed with the sound. I stream using Bluetooth and added equalizer from my phone and they sound great. These would sound so much better using a better system though with an amplifier These did not align the best with the speaker holes and I could not use the original truck screws from the original speakers as the screw head would cut into the speaker rubber on the woofer. I had to drill out the original screw holes a little to use the supplied screws that came with the new speakers. All in all, I am more than happy with the speakers and would purchase these again.

Good value, crisp sound
Philip from Buffalo, NY on 5/26/2025
2013 Toyota Prius
These speakers replaced the factory speakers in my 2013 Prius. (I'm still using the factory head unit.) Now I can hear the full acoustic range of music and even understand lyrics! Having 2 tweeters aimed slightly toward the listeners is genius. They sounded so good that I ordered the REF607FSL for the back doors, which have filled out the sound nicely.
Pros: Crisp, clear highs

These bad boys plugged right into the original speaker holes in my 94 Roadmaster. Dramatic improvement over 31 year old originals. Paired with matching Inifinty door speakers I now have a rolling concert hall. Highly recommended!
Pros: Easier than pie install
Cons: None, they rock!

Best 6x9's I have ever had!!!

2006 Dodge Ram 1500
As a genX, I can remember when four 6x9's was the best you could have, so I have installed a lot of 6x9 speakers over the years. These are by far the best sounding ones I have ever had. I am powering them from an Alpine amp (50w per channel rms) and they sound awesome.
Pros: Sound good, fit right into the doors on my 2006 Dodge Ram1500 with no modifications.
Cons: I have not found any.

Very clear mids and highs
Mark from Boise, ID on 2/24/2025
2022 Subaru WRX
I appreciate the +3db tweeter switch, which I have off since the highs are already a bit too loud for the location where the factory stereo did not have a tweeter to begin with (in the door). Much deeper magnet location than the factory speaker but it still fit. The sensitivity is good and slightly louder than factory. Note this is 3 ohm (weirdly marketed as true 4 ohm including the speaker wires). Good pick for a 2022 Subaru WRX, although the tweeters aren't really necessary when the dash has tweeters.
Pros: Very clear mids and highs, decent bass
Cons: Bass could be more crisp. Could be slightly less loud from the tweeters

Love the new sound
Pros:
Cons: Only complaint I have is the the screws provided by Infinity were approx. 1/4 in. To long. When screwed into speaker housing, they would of hit the outer door skinn and would not have fit. We had to grind that 1/4 in.

The sound is clearer than the factory speakers, but that doesn't really say much. These don't hit hard like the factories do either. These speakers sound like they need some more power behind it. Maybe my take would be different if I had an amp hooked up to it at the moment, but I didn't have an amp hooked up to the factory speakers. I was a little upset when one of the speakers busted. Also, the mounting bracket that you need does not fit flush. Some of the bracket actually rides on some of the rubber from the speaker. I've always been asked what kind of system I have on my truck as well, and I don't have one. I have a 2015 F150 XLT super crew with the 8in screen and the factory set up.
Pros: Easy installation
Cons: Sound & Brackets for mounting

10x better than stock speakers. I did all 4 door speakers in my 2023 Ram1500. Using stock radio/power head, the high sensitivity of 94 and the 3ohm leave no loss of volume. Sounds great ??
Pros: Sounds great ??
Cons: Holes in the speaker frame are a little bit off. Just had to in-large the holes a tad.

Big improvements to a Mini
Nick from Thousand Oaks, CA on 9/9/2024
2005 MINI Cooper
I've added a Kenwood HD radio CD Player (Im old school - still have vinyl at home!), and upgraded the front and rear speakers to Infinity - it sounds great without the complexity of adding power amps in a car where space is at a premium! The tweeter fits nicely into the original mount if you carefully cut out the original plastic grille.

Lovely speakers, but power hungry beyond my stock head unit's wattage.
Dave from ALEXANDRIA, VA on 8/28/2024
2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid
These are the nicest 3-way 6x9 I've every heard. I love the warm, detailed, deep dynamic sound. I reminds me of a truly great vinyl Hi-Fi. Unfortunately, and very sadly, they didn't work out and they've been returned. It pained me to return them. The selling point that these are suitable of being driven by stock head units/radio with their 3 Ohm and 94dB/2.83V did not work out for my car. Yes, this factor is going to be different between cars and models, your factory head unit, and your factory speaker wiring configuration. My Camry had to be at full volume for these speakers to meet their potential. The main cone wouldn't make much noise at all without the volume cranked and bass eq. maxed out. So if your factor speakers have tiny 1" motors, your factory head unit will likely struggle with the Infinity Reference speakers. If you're an audiophile, the 'Reference' in the name of these does not equate to reference in studio or home speakers. These have a lovely warm detailed sound.
Pros: Warm and detailed sound.
Cons: Needs power driving them, 50W RMS and up.

Little disappointed in longevity
Parker from MN on 8/23/2024
2008 Pontiac Grand Prix
I purchased these speakers, threw them in my pontiac, and for a couple weeks they sounded pretty good especially with the matching Infinity reference 6 1/2 in the front. Here's the issue, the tweeters for the 6x9 have degraded in quality and dont sound as whole/full. They are amplified but I never got near the power limit or equalized to high. Just sad now Yes I checked fader and balance on both head unit and amp -Will update if my fault.
Pros: They look and are built beautifully
Cons: Longevity (anecdotal)

Great Sound, poor fitment
Guest from Red Wing, MN on 5/28/2024
Speakers are great however these specific speakers do not fit in a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab passenger front door as they say they do. They fit in the driver side door but not the passenger side. I even tried 2 different passenger front doors. The speaker frame is not constructed right in order for them to fit. I had to go with a different brand 6x9 that would fit.
Pros: The speakers have great sound in all ranges and are a good price
Cons: The stated fitment in vehicle is not correct

David from Shelby Twp, MI on 4/27/2024
2019 Ram 1500
The 6x9's in put in the rear doors of my Ram 1500 seem Ok. Not bad, not great. Not much bass coming from them. Maybe they need an amp, I'm not sure. I was hoping for more. The dash reference speaker were more impressive. I'm not sure if I should spend the money to do the front doors now.
Pros: Clear sound.
Cons: Expensive, not a lot of bass, not very loud on factory radio.
