works great in a 2022 Toyota corolla
Colin from Fullerton, CA on 6/30/2025
2022 Toyota Corolla
I own a 2022 Toyota corolla none JBL system, these where easy to install, just use a step drill, and two of the brackets in the kit, a bit of duct tape, connected right up, with the supplied cables. Sound, I used to have the treble at max, now I am 3 to 4 settings lower, can I tell a difference, oh yes, I hear so much clearer notes, instruments and highs. I am glad I bought these, I also have a beats Amp behind the dash, that helps the main speakers match the tweeters. I am glad I got these, as I do not intend to spend big money on sound, for me these are perfect. Crutchfield, as always top notch, everything fit and worked, great instructions too. Next door speakers,
Pros: clear sound, easy to install. just use a big step drill, drill out the center of the panel, and fix in place.
Cons: None yet.

Replaced 2003 Honda Pilot dash tweeters. Wow. They are very loud and very bright. Make sure to use the inline crossover! I'm blown away house clear and bright they are. I could see these being to bright for the average person. If you're older and your hearing is bad on high frequencies, then this will help. If you're younger and have a sub in the back (like me) then this will help. I'm also using the Alpine 450 power pack with an alpine head unit. Ref 6.5 door speakers and a single Type R 12 sub. I'm very happy with my choice of tweeter.

I waffled back and forth with my decision to install or return. The factory speakers sounded just fine but I finally decided to go for it. Once I ripped this box open it was no turning back. The instructions could have used some words...the first speaker took quite a few attempts to get properly installed into the mount that I was going to use. The second tweeter took 1/5 the time - seriously. Once installed into the vehicle, these sound great and compliment the 6.5" Infinity's I put in the doors. I kinda wish they sit more flush like factory and it bothered me until they produced sound. Now I don't care.
Pros: Fit nicely. Sounds so crisp and is a worthy upgrade!
Cons: Deciphering the pic-only instructions can take someone smarter than me.

Relatively painless install and kickin' sound!

Tweeters can be tricky things to install sometimes, because different cars will have them in different locations and applications; in the door, the dash, or the A pillar sail panel (as was the case with my install in a 2005 toyota Prius)... These are great because they came with clear instructions/diagrams and MANY different options and mounting brackets... Tweeter installs are still a good opportunity to be clever and make s___ up to get a good result, and these were a snap. OH-PLUS; for their one inch size THE SOUND IS QUITE IMPRESSIVE!
Pros: Great sound, easy to install.
Cons: NONE

Finally, better than the junk Bose system
Nathaniel from Alpharetta, GA on 3/28/2025
2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Replaced these tweeters in a new 2024 Silverado High Country with the Bose system plus the Infinity 6.5' for the rear doors and the PowerBase 6x9's in the front doors. For less that $300, I went from an ok sound system to a clean, crisp and perfect sounding audio system. The included brackets and adapters made the process so simple. Took me about an hour a door but I added sound deadening which is not really needed but the extra thickness allowed for a nice tight fit between the door steel and plastic speaker adapter eliminating all rattle. Highly recommend.

Makes the OEM Sync 3 Unit Really Sing!
Thomas from Charleston, SC on 3/2/2025
2019 Ford F-250 XLT
I'd installed Infinity Reference speakers from Crutchfield in the front & rear doors just months after I bought my 2019 F-250 to replace the low-grade factory speakers. The improvement confirmed that the primary constraint of the OEM SYNC 3 system was the speaker assemblies. I installed a Dayton 3.5" center dash speaker (after discovering that an Infinity Reference 3.5" 4 ohm speaker overwhelmed everything up front), and this really helped. But something was still missing WRT the overall acoustic presence. I'd not realized there were factory tweeters installed in the front pillars wired in parallel with the respective front door speakers, but after discovering this I decided it might be worth replacing them with these Infinity Reference tweeters. After an informative discussion with a very knowledgeable Crutchfield tech rep to confirm that the included crossover assemblies were required, I embarked on what was going to be a fairly arduous installation process. I was able to design and fabricate a custom aluminum bracket for the speaker mounting assemblies, interconnect the wiring harnesses using "mil-spec" techniques, and judiciously secure the wiring using hot-melt glue to preclude any future issues due to vibration. After reinstallation and making some minor adjustments with the system settings, it was immediately apparent that all of my efforts were well worth it. The sound is now fantastic even for my ancient ears!

These tweeters were a great add to my new car audio install and, were a perfect match to the Infinity Reference REF607FSL speakers I chose for the 4 main speaker locations. The install was a little tricky as the factory installed tweeters were bonded to the mounts but with a little ingenuity and the right size hole saw I was able to fit them perfectly in the factory cutouts. The highs are popping with these, and I really love the clarity these bring in what is an inherently noisy vehicle. the Infinity tweeters overcome road noise and bring amazing life to jazz, rock, and country music. One note, the instructions for the tweeter install does not mention the crossovers and I was not sure if there was a factory crossover or how I should manage the installation of the Infinity supplied crossovers. One quick call to Crutchfield answered my questions. The support from these guys is awesome and one of the reasons I keep coming back to the Crutchfield store for electronics. They even fixed my order screw-up (my fault) no questions asked. Awesome service and support as usual !

2005 Lexus RX330
I bought this as an upgrade to the near 20 year old 2005 Lexus RX330 tweeters in the A pillars. They sound a lot better than the base factory speakers and they also came with capacitors to filter out the lower notes. Rather than reusing the factory brackets, I simply used a Dremel to slightly widen the tweeter speaker openings carefully and I was able to fit it through the tweeter opening without any issues

Awesome improvement over stock tweeters......
Seth from Evergreen, CO on 11/25/2024
2020 Subaru Outback
Installed these in the dash in my 2020 Subaru Outback (without the higher-end audio system). The improvement in sound-quality and overall listenability in the car is amazing. The tweeters seem pretty efficient and don't need much power, I've been able to adjust the EQ and really enjoy how the system sounds. Surprising how much sound and quality is missing from the stock system. Installation was quite easy but the excessively long-leads on the crossover and wiring adapters required some cutting/shortening and soldering.
Pros: Great sound improvement at a reasonable price.
Cons: Only con is having to shorten the leads on the crossover and wiring adapter.

The speakers look amazing. I'm sure they sound amazing, but I can't hear them to know this because the "instructions" are black and white and look more like a schematic than installation instructions. I received my speakers a few days ago. I contacted CS for assistance. The poor rep was only able to find limited instructions with color visuals. Those were only how to remove the factory installed speakers ro my vehicle. He was still trying to find install instructions. The speakers come with many pieces. I don't know how to put them together be cause I have no clear direction. Crutchfield USED to be so great with the color visual instructions. I don't know what happened, but I may not be a customer for long if this is their new way of giving install instructions. I'm not a happy customer.
Pros: They look good
Cons: I can't install it. I received no instructions. Clear instructions.
