Sound quality is beautiful it has such a good clear bass and with running a 400w mono block on it they pair beautifully! Definitely saving up to add a second one and can't wait to change it from 4ohm to 2ohm on this!
Pros: Slim, great sound
Cons: Shell is a little wider than the hole I had cut but easy fix

This sub changed my view on shallow mount subs! This thing puts in the work, the quality in 4ohm is perfect. And thin enough to mount behind the seat in a 2018 F150 crewcab. This truck did not come with the factory sub so I built this custom sealed box and paired this with the Infinity 3000A amp. Balances the sound stage perfectly. I have already had all the door speakers and tweeters swapped to infinity Kappa, so I always find an excuse to go drive the truck now!

Nice shallow mount for bass fill

2017 Ford F-150 XLT
A very nice shallow mount subwoofer for those with limited space. Running 1 in my F-150 Super Cab with 300w rms amp in .5 cu ft sealed box behind the back seat. It fills in the sound very nicely but certainly won't impress anyone looking for attention.
Pros: Very nice accurate bass to supplement your door speakers.
Cons: Likely won't impress the younger crowd.

EXCELLENT
Crutchfield customer from El Paso, TX on 5/21/2020
Man I cannot express how perfect a pair of these sound in my Silverado. It's just the right amount of bass to make the music hit right without getting annoying. My truck is now my favorite vehicle to drive. If you have a truck throw a pain in a down fire box under the seat. You won't be disappointed
Pros: Excellent sound
Cons: Small bevel on the speaker cage, had to open up the box 1/8 of an inch. Not hard though

More than what I needed
Crutchfield customer from San Antonio, TX on 10/9/2019
2013 Infiniti G
Installing it in my 2015 Infiniti Q40 had minor challenges since the existing holes that held the (piece of junk) Bose "power woofer" did not match. After minor adjustments (to the sub), I got it in. I am using it as a free-air sub on the rear deck and it sounds amazing (connected to my Infinity Kappa K5 amp). It has added the rich bass that the factory "power woofer" truly lacked.
Pros: Shallow mount allows the sub to be completely concealed with any adjustments to my interior.
Cons: None at this point

Amazing.

2017 Toyota Tundra
I had doubts but these speakers exseeded my expectations. They asked for 1.5 Cubic feet ported and .5 cubic feet sealed. What they got was .6 ported, but that was plenty for my taste. These speakers sound amazing with my Alpine MRV-M500. I bought a custom box to fit under my rear seats in my 2017 Tundra. When they hit I smiled from ear to ear :) Thank you Crutchfield.
Pros: Fits in tight spaces.
Cons: Shallow subs are rated with less bass vs non shallow.

Great bass for the size
Randy from Upstate NY on 9/30/2017
I purchased this shallow mount Infinity sub for my 2013 F150 supercab. I put the sub in a 0.8 cubic foot box under the rear seat, and I run it with a 220-watt-rms amplifier at 2-ohms. I've never used a shallow mount subwoofer, and I was a bit worried that this would not satisfy my needs. After a week of break-in time, I started to push it a little bit. After a bit of tweaking, I found that this subwoofer is simply excellent. My sound taste is directed towards sound quality, and this sub absolutely complements the 2 pairs of Infinity Primus PR8602cf I installed last month to my Sony HU. I am more than happy with my purchase! Thanks Crutchfield!
Pros: Great bass with proper installation, excellent build quality, won't break your wallet.
Cons: Not a thing

Infinity REF1000S - Great Subwoofer
Bill from San Antonio, TX on 7/16/2017
The Infinity REF1000S met all my requirements, shallow mount and 2 Ohm. It provides plenty of bass that can be felt. It's mounted in a custom enclosure and is working great. On the down side, input terminals are two different sizes and no connectors are provided. The manual says the sub can be top or bottom mounted and to use the included foam ring for either installation. The ring was not included.
Pros: Shallow mount, selectable 2 or 4 Ohm
Cons: different size input terminals and connectors not included , install instructions says to use included foam ring but was not included

Good enough sound for small soace
Guest from Ft Myers, FL on 4/13/2017
Great sub for what I need!! Crew cab frontier limited space under seat and this thing works great. I mainly use it for deeper sub filler with my 6.5 infinity components which scream. I'm running 200rms at 4ohm In a sealed box. Had to tune correctly, but with it only 1/4 gain up it thumps!! It defiantly can handle gain up at 3/4 which shakes everything which got neighbors made but I couldn't hear components very well. I'm a crisp clean sound audio junky this set I have is over plenty.
Pros: Good with little power and space
Cons: Took time to tune but great when accomplished.

One works well in Tundra.
Jon from Buford, GA on 3/8/2017
Sounds good for such a shallow sub. Doesn't hit as hard as a traditional deep basket sub, but if space is limited it's a gem.
Pros: Very shallow mount depth. Decent sound output.
Cons: Doesn't hit as hard as a traditional sub.

Quality subs!
Artimus_Cade from Virginia on 5/26/2015
These subs are definitely well built and up to the task. Just make sure you you check the mounting diameter. I didn't and ended up sanding out the holes to get them to fit. Oops... In the end they work just fine. Though looking back I think I would have spent the money for a little more power (personal choice).
