Good Punch for 2nd gen Tacoma.
Raymond from Red Lion, PA on 4/13/2021

I am a novice, this is my first time doing anything acoustically but it works great. I am powering with a JBL 300 watt amp (but not at full volume as this is a 200watt speaker) and it delivers all the punch I need. Designed and built the custom box at the recommended internal air volume and installed the speaker with BlueTack sticky stuff and the thing sounds great. Mounting behind the drive side rear seat of a 2009 Tacoma Double Cab. Also purchased the "open box" version of this part and while there was some damage on the speaker, it in no way negatively effects the speakers performance, so kudos for Crutchfield offering used but working products at a nice little discount.

This sub brings the thump! Be sure to pair it with amp with some power or it won't do it justice...
Pros: Mega thump
Cons: Thirstu for some power

Heavy duty. They seen well built. Still in the break in stage. I haven't turned the power up yet. They are replacing two Rockford fosgate 10's. They already sound way better.
Pros: Appearance. Heavy duty.sound. amount of bass output
Cons: They are over sized in diameter. Only two hundred watt rms.

Does the job
Brad W from LYMAN, SC on 2/11/2020
Sounds good, does the job. Will need to make your hole bigger than most 10" sub enclosures come with, kind of a pain and why it didn't get 5 stars.

Perfect
Jordan from Durham, NC on 5/29/2018
Installed in a 2012 Ford F-350 super duty crew cab, being ran by a Powerbass ASA3 700.5 at 2 ohm for 500w rms. They sound amazing more than I expected from a shallow mount and they handle the extra 100w without a problem. Nice hard hitting bass and very exceptional lows for a 10" and shallow mount on top of that. Would definitely recommend and purchase again for my next job.
Pros: Harman/Kardon has always delivered
Cons: None

awesome subs
jason from Huntsville, TX on 2/7/2018
these subs exceeded my expectations tremendously. sound great in a small box with a fairly small amp pushing them. had to trim the opening in the box about 1/8 of an inch all the way around to clear the basket, but its a minor detail in comparison to the quality of the speaker
Pros: sound, quality, price
Cons: installation required trimming approximately 1/8 of an inch all around the opening in a prebuilt box
