Great Sounding Speakers

Installed the JBL Club 964M at the rear deck location of a 2003 Corolla. No drilling needed to install speaker mounts. Plug and play. Couldn't have been easier. These speakers paired with Alpine UTE- 73BT from Crutchfield sound fantastic!

Awesome sound quality!

Wanted to upgrade my stock speakers in my brand new 2025 Cadillac XT4 and my advisor, Rucker recommend these based on what I was looking for in my taste of sound. Installed these and the sound is amazing and just what I was looking for! All brackets, wire harnesses and instructions were included for a flawless install in my new car. I am not only happy with my speakers but most of all the advice and service I received from Crutchfield! These speakers bring out the Bass, mid and highs that I was looking to achieve !

Has to be by far one of the most helpful places to order speakers. Everything came how i needed it, instructions sent via email which it made it easy. These speakers are very well worth the money

Can't go wrong!

Replaced stock speakers on my 2023 Highlander with these up front. Great variety of sounds highs mids and lows good bass. Had a quick issue on installation but tech support was awesome helped me fix my issue quickly. Would recommend these speakers and definitely from these guys.

At first I didn't want to buy jbl speakers because I didn't believe they were good... I do not regret buying them now!! My speakers sound amazing and all my friends tell me they are loud and cleared.

Great speakers and best support from Crutchfield

Crutchfield reps me helped make the choice to this particular model for my 2024 Cadillac Lyriq Lux 1. They supplied all the necessary brackets and harness etc. Instructions were clear. First door panel took a long time. As I moved on to other doors, replacing the seapkers was much quicker. I enjoy a much better sound now. Much better bass, mid and treble now. Thanks to Crutchfield reps for being available just a phone call away.

Phenomenal speakers.

After a recommendation from Crutchfield, I decided to go with the JBL Club 964M, and the difference compared to the OEM speakers is night and day. I chose these speakers primarily for their high sensitivity, as I didn't add an amplifier and needed something that would perform well with the factory setup. Installation was straightforward-the suggested mounts and plugs fit perfectly, and Crutchfield's instructions were clear and easy to follow. Plus, there are plenty of helpful videos on YouTube to guide you through the process. One important tip: take your time to insulate any potential rattling sources, such as loose cables or plastic pieces, to ensure the best sound quality at higher volumes. I'm still fine-tuning mine, but overall, I'm very happy with the upgrade!

Good speakers

The speakers are exactly what I expected, but the install required a trip to lowes. If you are installing these onto a 2015 corolla, do yourself a favor and go buy a pack of #8 1" rounded head screws, you won't need to cut the outrageously long screws they give you for the mounting bracket to fit your bolt holes. Wish I had known this prior, but it's a minor inconvenience.

2025 Chevrolet Silverado

I replaced all the factory speakers in my 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. I installed the JBL Club 964M speakers in the Front Doors. I replaced the rear door speakers with JBL Club 64FSL, and the Dash Speakers with the Kenwood Excelon KFC-X2C mid-range speakers. The Crutchfield website did not recommend anything for the rear doors in a 2025 Silverado. But they do have recommendations for 2019 Silverado's, which is from the same Generation of Truck. The install was quick and easy, the provided brackets fit great. And the sound is Incredible compared to the Factory Speakers.

Great mids no bass

The JBL has nice mid range and high response but they are lacking in any kind of low frequency. When compared to an old set (20+ yrs old) of Infinity reference 6X9 I had installed in the car. Yes they were that old had from another install way back when. As for my low frequency in my 07 Tacoma that is handle by a 10in down fire sub. The 6x9 are being powered by an alpine 4ch 50Wx4 amp. Great speaker for the price.

Great speakers for the price. I got mine at half price during the sale in early December. Replaced the front door speakers of my 2013 Tacoma double cab with these, and paired them with the JBL Club 64fsl for the back doors. They have plenty of punch for a speaker that's recommended for factory replacements. The bass won't blow the windows out, but they do hit pretty good for a "budget speaker".

Great bang for your buck

Put these in my stock system challenger. The only issue i came up with was attaching these to my factory speaker mounts. I had to trim them but otherwise they sat great and definitely upgraded the base without sacrificing my sound quality!

Great Sound in a Ram

These JBLs really woke up the Alpines System in my 2016 Ram. The OEM speakers in the rear door were very flat sounding and these full range speakers improved the sound dramatically. When adding these speakers, they do not make the sound louder, they just enhance the sound and add clarity that brings out the bass and treble in the rear of my truck. All holes aligned perfectly and the spacers that come with these speakers are needed so that the magnet clears the window arm.

These speakers sound amazing over the stock option, especially since mine were pretty exhausted. The stock speakers in my truck were starting to crackle and just couldn't quite cut it when i wanted to crank up the tunes a bit.

Ashy to Classy

Replaced my original factory JBL Synthesis speakers in my 2008 Toyota land Cruiser with these as the closest plug & play option that I could find without switching brands. 1st: Huge shout out to my Crutchfield Agent (Ray) who was patient in helping me locate exactly what I needed & not what he was "trained" to sell me. As a result, what I ended up with was the perfect solution. 2nd: Shout out is to JBL. You can see the speaker I replaced after 16 years of use. You can see where the foam was coming apart, but amazingly it still sounded good. Super impressed. I highly recommend these speakers & Cruchfield. They are honest & straightforward in there approach to product & customer service.

Great pair of speakers

With the help from Mitch, finally accomplished the sound always dediderire in my truck. Very nice upgrade to the stock sound system in my 2016 Ford Fusion without having to put in an aftermarket amp. No more crappy bass rattle like my old stock speakers had. Very clear audio but not too much bass.

Renewed Joy

The original JBL speakers in my 2008 Toyota Highlander Limited had disintegrated. Super happy with these replacements. The crisp clarity made me realize how much I was missing. Goosebumps.

2024 WRX Premium upgrade!

Speakers sound great in my 2024 WRX Premium, but I need to add an amplifier to my setup and a Line Out Converter for my stock head unit. Volume levels above 22 still produce distortion in playback. At levels below 22 I have substantially a better bass and overall sound quality over the stock speakers. Crutchfield included everything I needed from adapter plates to adapter harnesses to clip into factory wiring, which made installation very simple.

Major upgrade from factory speakers

After doing weeks of research to replace my factory speakers. I am 100 perfect satisfied, that I chose this JBL Club 964M. The sounds are incredible and I could feel the bass. Worth every pennies, I've spent. I have a 2015 Lexus es300h and this is a major upgrade. I was thinking of getting an underneath the seat subwoofer but, I don't think I really need it at all. JBL never disappoints.

Great speakers, Great price, Great deal

I added these to my stock 2016 F150XL single cab and it made a ton of difference. These can of course handle the power from a factory stereo no problem and allowed me to turn it up with no distortion. The truck is an old fleet vehicle so I didn't really want to spend a ton so these are a great speaker at a great price. I bought these and got the mounting brackets and speaker adapters free of charge. It made the install very easy. The only problem I had was one screw didn't line up from the speaker to the bracket but it was only plastic so I was able to make a new hole. I used some deck joist tape between the bracket and the metal opening of the door to prevent rattles (redneck I know) and it worked great. The speaker has enough bass to make listening to music enjoyable for longer trips and voices are very clear when hands free (added a smart screen that feeds to the AUX port). Really for what I spent and what I received I don't see any way I could have got a better deal. I liked these speakers so much I am going to try and wire in some rear speakers so I can add another set of these. If you are on the fence about these buy them, you won't be disappointed.

Great Stock Upgrade

Great upgrade over the stock 6x9. You'll want to add an amp or aftermarket head unit but these speakers are well worth the price.

Installed this 6X9 speakers yesterday in my 1999 Honda Accord LX. Installation was fairly easy. The connectors that Crutchfield provided worked perfectly. Sound is good. I still need to do some adjustments to my car stereo. Also planning to add a 4 channel Rockford Fosgate amplifier to really bring the best sound possible. Thank you, Crutchfield technician for helping me out with some questions I had.

Not amplified yet

Considerably better than stock even off factory radio power. I have a 4-channel Fosgate amp that I will be installing soon when I get my sub/sub enclosure figured out so I'm excited to hear them under full load. I suspect they will sound even better still. Did not care for the JBL mounting bracket. Thanks Crutchfield for the quick shipping and hassle free purchase.

These speakers do not fit in 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 front door. The basket is too large and doesn't come close to fitting in the opening. This is actually the 3rd set of speakers for multiple vehicles Crutchfield said would fit that I have ordered that simply do not fit without major modifications or a shotty install. I put the 6.5 jbl 64sq speakers in the rear door and it really should not be considered a fit either. The only way to install those was with self tapping screws angled inward towards the speaker and left at least a half inch of threads exposed. The screw holes on the 6x9's do line up but I am not taking a saw to my door. I am sure the speaker itself is fine but do not expect this to fit an 08 Ram. I love Crutchfield but this is starting to make me weary.
