Gets the most out of the L82

I bought my L82 here at Crutchfield. I passed on springing for the stands. I improvised with acacia wood stools and ISO Acoustics 155 stands ... good results. Recently I purchased these stands from a dealer going out of business. The right height and angle make all the difference in presence and sound stage. They are well made and worth every dollar. Kinda wish I had saved the cash on the ISO stands and the stools. If you are buying the L82 MK2, these are a must!
Pros: They are part and parcel of the speaker design and listening experience. Right height and angle. Well made.
Cons: I was gonna say price but not anymore.

Outstanding! Great build quality. Nice and solid. Really improved the soundstage of the L82 speakers. There's some foam where the speakers sit to protect them from scratches. Love them.

Great stands

I do not quite understand why Crutchfield considered this to be a "scratch and dent" when it arrived in perfect condition. Only the box was scratched and dented. The stands are a must for JBL L82 speakers (which are awesome).

Made to go with the Classic L82's these stands make all the difference. Built way more solidly than I was anticipating these stands aren't moving anywhere.

Beautiful speaker stand. Extremely well made and sturdy. I am using these for ADS L570/2 speakers from the 1980s. They work out perfectly

Solid stands

The stands were well packaged and as sturdy as expected. Of course a little pricey but you get what your pay for. For my application I couldn't be happier.
Pros: Industrial look. Nicely painted. Held the speakers in great position without feeling like they were going to tip. Best packaging by far. Heavy steel construction.
Cons: Again I have to say this. Just a little pricey but definitely a solid price .

I'm using this stand with vintage KLH Model 6 speakers. I was able to buy them "open box." They're excellent and a discount was nice too.
Pros: Solidly constructed. Attractive design.
Cons: Price.all speaker stands are expensive not just these. These are a good value for the money relative to other options, but it still hurts a little to pay so much for speaker stands.

These stands far exceeded my expectations! These are the perfect height for my JBL L166's...they were about 10 inches of the floor but this extra lift made them so much better than they already were. Packaging was top notch and shipping right on the money. Thanks Crutchfield!

Nice Look and weight

I like the look of these. I have many vintage speakers and it works perfectly. Nice weight and angle. I do wish a company would start making various speaker stands and not the standard straight versions at a reasonable price. These are nice but expensive for what they do. I would buy again but wish I had alternatives.

Ideal for JBL 4312G

In my view, these stands really complemented my JBL 4312G speakers. They are stylish and unique from an aesthetic standpoint. Functionally, they elevate the speakers to an ideal height, and rake them up a few degrees to help with dispersion. The area that holds the speaker in place has a nice brace in the back as well. The base has some adjustable rubber feet for leveling purposes. They are also solid and heavy. To sum up, these were ideal for my application, and would happily recommend!
