Mission accomplished

Just finished setting up my JBL MA710. Impressive! This unit is an excellent replacement for my old Sherwood Newcastle. Set-up was straight forward and was accomplished with my pixel 9 phone. The MA710 functions well using the WiFi solely from my phone's hotspot. The latest version of Bluetooth is a good improvement. Sound quality overall is excellent. This unit will get daily use so I'll be testing its longevity and report any problems, if any occur.
Pros: Straight forward controls and excellent sound. Crutchfield customer service was, and has been previously, Great! I didn't need tech support setting up my MA710 but it's good to know it's there if needed.

Fits Most of my Needs

This a truly modern AVR in many ways. I was able to configure the settings to my entertainment goals and hide all the other annoying inputs I chose not to use. That is great. The sound is everything I expected. It looks clean and fits in well. My only complaint is that it does not appear to be Google compliant. I have a Google house and turn on the familt room via a voice command. I have yet to see how to do this with a JBL AVR.

Color me mostly impressed.
Bought this to replace an aged and dying Yamaha. Decided that I'd like to try something different after using Yamaha for a number of years. I liked the slightly slimmer proportions of the Class D and the specs were on par with my desires. So far I'm happy with my purchase, quality sound and nice surround sound separation (definitely use the app to EQ the room..makes a remarkable difference). One item that continues to frustrate me, however, is that the unit doesn't seem to store the last used input- it always "resets" to the TV(ARC) input regardless of what I previously used.
Pros: EQ App helps fine tune to awkward spaces. Great sound. Clean interface.
Cons: Unit doesn't recall previously used input

Simple

Smaller in size that my previous receiver, better control layout, simple an elegant. Remote also very simple but nice fell to it. Sound so far is great, less watts than before but it sounds louder and much richer.
Pros: Control layout, inputs also clear and spaced correctly
Cons: No built in room tunnig

Reciever seems fine app is worthless other than setting up the reciever being able to control the receiver while watching a movie to dial in things would be great even their headphone app has more features than a 800 dollar receiver will probably return for something else
Pros: Looks
Cons: Can't control while watching movies two apps and neither do much other than setup
