I used these to replace Polk DB components in my Audi S4 up front. I AB'd them and recorded with a good mic too and the JBL's have much more detail with the instruments and voices and had deeper bass. The little tweeter is pretty smooth and never harsh and plays pretty low. Then I added the 3" midranges in the dash to make them 3 ways and wow they sound even better now with a much improved soundstage.I replaced the components in back with them too and of course they blew away the stock Concert speakers there also with better bass and of course much more detail. Add the 10" stadium sub in a sealed box powered by a JBL A600 amp. I now have a very tight accurate system that covers the frequency range and gets pretty loud even on the Factory 40 watts. I am very happy with them and highly recommend.
Pros: Superb Sound Quality and Detal. 3 way upgradeable - good value.
Cons: None.

Not for Subaru and HK Sound Systems

2017 Subaru Forester
Speakers seem to be of nice quality, but they don't pair well w/my 2017 Subaru Forester equipped w/ Harmon Kardon system. My OE HK Rear speakers were blown so I replaced w/these. I have to turn the receiver signal bias almost 70% to the rear speaker to barely hear them, w/out being overpowered by the front 6x9 component factory speakers. It is NOT a good match for replacement speakers. I should've tried something else but these obviously need extra power and are not a good match for the Subaru/HK system. Live and learn, but this was a costly learning experience. I'm left w/basically running 2 front speakers for now. I'm also past the 60-day return policy which suxs.

I would not recommend to install into a Volvo XC90 2020 T6 Momentum. Even when the page suggest those speakers for my Volvo! When increas the volume brakes and when turn on the stereo sound a super high popping, very uncomfortable.
Pros: Amazing size it fit well once you customize the brackets and speaker frame
Cons: The Amp that comes with the SUV do not help

Wow, these are impressive. I combined the 6.5 Stadium with the 2" Stadium to produce an outstanding sound stage in my Jeep Wangler. I only installed these in the front and deleted the overhead speakers since they are much to close to your ears. The result is like listening to a live band where you can here individual instruments and voices from different points. The volume can be turned up as much as you can take. In addition, I added a 10" sub-woofer and a JBL Club 5 channel amp. I also covered the entire floor of the Jeep with sound insulation which dramatically lowered the road noise and allowed the speakers to be more clear.

Well built and versatile, sound good on stock Blose amp in my Sierra. Looking forward to bypassing the crummy Blose and going with a new amp and hear them sing.

I've had a lot of different speakers over the years and I usually buy focal however this time there was not many options for them. I decided after looking at these JBL speaks to go for it based on the GTO series these replaced. Wow these speakers are bada$$. They are super clear and have decent bass. I have them running on about 50 watts and now I really want to buy an amp to fully power them. JBL really hit a home run with this line of speakers.
Pros: Sound is absolutely amazing
Cons: Non yet.

Running this component set and 6x9's off the JL VXI 600/6. And it sounds very loud with minimal distortion. No crossovers used One of the best component sets for the money!
Pros: 3 ohm brings out more power off amplifier Upgradeable 3 way can be added with bandpass crossover for the 3 inch midrange
