JBL's Stadium Series 10" subwoofer will add color, style, and sound to your boat. This rugged marine-rated subwoofer can handle up to 300 watts RMS (900 peak), so you'll add a ton of thump to your marine audio system. You'll also add great looks and attractive multi-color RGB LED lighting that will bring style and functionality to any vessel.

Switchable impedance

As cool as this sub looks, the really cool part is out of sight. JBL's incredibly nifty dual-impedance switch allows you to choose a 2- or 4-ohm load impedance option, so you can reconfigure your sub at the flip of a switch.

With JBL Stadium Series speakers, awesome sound is a given. But this powerful sub also give you attractive RGB LED lighting that'll add style to your boat. Seven cool colors are available out of the box, but with an external lighting controller (sold separately), you can create unique colors that suit your boat and your style.

Features

LED Illumination: Integrated into each grille are red/green/blue LED assemblies, to create a glow on the woofer cone. A 12 volt power supply is needed to turn the LEDs on; depending on what combination of LED wires is connected, they light red, green, blue, yellow, purple, aquamarine, or white. A 4-wire pigtail (14" long) is provided for supplying power to the built-in LEDs.

Switch-Selectable Impedance (SSI): A switch on the input terminal allows you to easily change the woofer's impedance between 2Ω and 4Ω settings. (The connected amplifier should be off when changing the impedance.) The power handling is the same for either setting; 300 watts RMS/900 watts peak.

yes, the instructions say it can be mounted with or without an enclosure. I mounted mine under the front golf cart seat which is not at all sealed and it performs very well. Good bass, very satisfied.
