Great speaker terrible mount
Mike from SHOW LOW, AZ on 7/15/2023
This is an incredible speaker for bike handlebars. Only one problem the mount is far to weak for the weight of the speaker and it will break in short order. No, the mount is not sold separately so you get to throw the whole speaker away.
Pros: Good speaker
Cons: Worst possible mount

Sounds okay, but fell flat on its face
Dan from BEMIDJI, MN on 7/15/2023
I do a lot of road bike cycling and was excited to have discovered the JBL Wind 3. Initial impressions were good. The tiny speaker sounds remarkable indoors (with a good sound stage backdrop). Outdoors with wind and road noise the bass gets washed away a bit, but it still sounds very good given its small footprint. There are some hiccups with Bluetooth streaming to the JBL Wind 3. Occasionally the music will stop playing. Switching from Bluetooth, to FM radio, then back to Bluetooth, then hitting the "play" button again will usually remedy this issue. In fairness, I'm not sure if the issue here is with the JBL Wind 3 or my iPhone. The interface for changing frequencies for the FM radio is pretty counter-intuitive and FM reception is lacking. I'd recommend against this unit for FM radio play unless you have a single, very-strong FM radio station nearby that you can leave the JBL Wind 3 parked on. Where the JBL Wind 3 fell flat on its face... is the mounting mechanism. There is a handlebar mount for the bike and the JBL Wind 3 has a flange that slides into the mount (see pic). In a very short time, the flange chipped away and now it's only the pressure of the belt clip holding the Wind 3 to its mount. It's fallen from my bike 3x already! This is distracting and dangerous. The first couple issues weren't deal-breakers for me, but the mount was. I've had the unit less than 3 months and am forced to take it off the bike for safety reasons.
Pros: Good sound from small package, good battery life
Cons: Poorly designed mounting mechanism, FM radio reception, FM radio controls

JBL Wind 3
John from Des Moines, IA on 6/16/2023
JBL, how can u go wrong! Great product. Nice clarity, even at higher volumes. Mostly use it for the bike, but did bring it down to the Oregon beach. Small size, big sound.
Pros: Easy to use. Clip is a great idea. Decent amount of play time.
Cons: None!

JBL Wind 3
Steven from Bunker Hill, IN on 5/23/2023
Love the FM radio because I don't like to wear Ear Buds in my ears when riding bicycle. Also I don't stream music from my phone so this is the perfect walking or biking companion that sounds great.
Pros: Sounds great love the FM feature
Cons: FM does fade in and out a little but I am in the country if in town would be better.

Decent sound-nice and compact- worth the sale price-
Frank from Red Hook, NY on 5/15/2023
Decent sound-nice and compact- worth the sale price- I bought two and used one in my John Deere gator-the mounting clip works on the dashboard nicely. I'll also use this in my beater truck that has no radio....Seems rugged enough, and plan on mounting the other unit on my bike. The FM feature is nice, but the station tuning is clumsy and awkward- unfortunately it is so bad I probably won't use it much- but overall a decent speaker that you don't mind banging around..
Pros: Rugged, compact sounds good.
Cons: Radio tuning is just clumsy.

Handy way to add music to my rides
Eric from CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA on 5/9/2023
This is a nice way to listen to music while riding my e-bike, while still leaving my ears free to hear traffic sounds around me. The only issue I have is that it's hard to get it cinched tight enough on my handlebars so that it won't slip, but that's more because of the way they're shaped - the included hardware seems like it would work just fine on a tube of uniform diameter.

Compact power house for your bike
Edward from Rapid City, SD on 1/10/2023
Great design for the bike. Compact with the great sound I've come to like with the JBL Charge 4 and the bigger BoomBox. Very versatile as well with its ability to play FM, Bluetooth, or tunes from the SD card slot. Easy to figure out right out of the box an even easier to mount on your handlebars. Perfect size, great design, and versatility. Highly recommended to family and friends.
Pros: Sound, design, play options, easy mount
Cons: None at this price point.

JBL Wind 3 Delivers A Winner
Stavros from NYC on 9/3/2022
At this price point, the JBL Wind 3 delivers. I highly recommend you take some time and download your music to a micro SD card, the sound is much louder compared to playing music via Bluetooth. Like the fact that it stands up in its holder as I feel a difference compared to similar competitors who lay flat. The only thing I wish is that it would have a feature to add a second unit and have the music play off two speakers simultaneously.
Pros: SD card slot Bike mount Priced Well
Cons: No pairing with a second speaker

SUPERB!!!!
Scott from Kings Park, NY on 7/11/2022
Great audio emanating from this solidly built unit. Waterproof and easy to use. My wife loves it on her Zizzo bike. Don't really use the radio much but the Blue Tooth function works great! I inserted a 64 GB TF card into it and I load it with the songs of her choice. Great equipment and, as usual, exemplary service from my favorite dealer - Crutchfield!!!
Pros: Sound Quality. Rugged build.
Cons: Wish it had a way to fast forward/reverse through songs loaded on TF card

Cordy

AWESOME lil' buddy !! Clear , crisp sound with good bass for a lil' 4"×3" speaker that is waterproof,durable,drop-resistant,with rechargable battery, user-friendly controls and easy to read l .e.d. display with a power level indicator, that can be attached to a bike, backpack, etc .. AND it features an FM radio with adjustable and pre-set stations and clear reception ... would've got 5 stars if battery lasted more than 5 hours and was a lil' less pricey... but overall , no regrets , I love this lil' buddy ..

Works Great
Crutchfield customer from BEAUFORT, SC on 6/3/2022
The speaker looks and sounds great. The 1 star reduction is due to the clip. It's sturdy and mates to the handle bar mount well but in order to squeeze the clip there's no way to avoid inadvertently pushing buttons. The only way is to turn the speaker on or off after it's clipped. It would be nice if additional mounts were available for purchase.
Pros: Construction Features Sound
Cons: Hard to operate clip No additional mounts available

Impressive sound from this little thing
Donald from Hermitage, TN on 5/30/2022
I attached this to my Lectric bike and went for a ride. BT'd to my phone and listened to some tunes. Life is good!
Pros: Easy to attach to handlebars.
Cons: A little hard to remove from bike clip however that means it won't fall off on its own.
