Overview: The JBL Endurance Race 2 ear buds are true wireless active in-ear headphones that delivers the JBL Pure Bass sound. Each ear bud has a built-in rechargeable battery, plus touch controls for power, music playback, phone calls, and Voice Assistant. The Endurance Race 2 ear buds come with three pairs of silicone ear tips, two pairs of silicone "wings" to provide an optimum fit, a USB charging cable, and a hard, flip-top charging case.

Drivers: The JBL Endurance Race 2 ear buds are equipped with 6.8mm dynamic drivers that deliver the rich JBL Pure Bass sound with a wide frequency range of 20Hz-20kHz.

Touch Controls: The JBL Endurance Race 2 features intuitive touch controls on the left and right ear buds that lets you play/pause, change tracks, take and end calls, mute the microphone, activate Advance Controls, and enable your favorite Voice Assistant (as set up in the JBL Headphones App).

Ear Tips: The ear buds comes with three pairs (S, M, and L) of silicone rubber ear tips, ensuring you get an airtight fit regardless of the shape or size of your ear. In addition, two pairs (S, L) of ergonomic "enhancers" are included to give you a more secure fit for rigorous activities. The wings on the enhancers tuck behind the folds of the outer ear to help keep the earbuds securely in place, especially during rigorous activity. This TwistLock™ technology alleviates pressure point discomfort, and provides a better seal and stability when wearing.

Water/Dust Resistant: The Endurance Race 2 ear buds are IP68-certified to protect the internal components from dust, water, and sweat. This waterproof design keeps them performing in the rain, during a workout, or even after submersion in 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes.

Bluetooth: The ear buds connect to your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth version 5.3. The ear buds support A2DP (V1.3.2), AVRCP (V1.6.2), and HFP (V1.8).

Sports Mode/Relax Mode: The JBL Endurance Race 2 has a Sports Mode that enhances your workout experience. In the JBL Headphones app, you can choose one of six Sports Modes -- or you can customize your own -- that sets the levels of Active Noise Cancelling, Ambient Aware, and EQ. When your workout is over, you can use the Relax Mode during your cool down. Relax Mode lets you choose from five soothing sounds, such as a crackling fire or gentle ocean waves. In the app, you can adjust a slider to select how long you want to listen in this mode.

Voice Assistants: The headphones are compatible with the Voice Assistant that is built into your smartphone like Siri or Bixby. To activate the Voice Assistant in the Endurance Race 2, you can touch and hold of one of the ear buds for two seconds.

Microphones: The ear buds have dual beamforming microphones to pick up your voice for making clear phone calls, and using your favorite voice assistant, and for picking up ambient noise for the Ambient Aware feature.

Active Noise Cancelling / Ambient Aware / TalkThru: The Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and Ambient Aware features let you choose whether you want to shut out your environment or connect to it. Active Noise Cancelling eliminates ambient noise with an opposite audio signal. Active Noise Cancelling lets you focus on your music or just enjoy the silence by eliminating noise from your surroundings. If you want to be more aware of your surroundings, you can enable the Ambient Aware feature, which allows the sound of your surroundings into the earphones. You'll be able to listen to public announcements, or just hear what's going on around you, without removing your earbuds. The TalkThru feature simply lowers the level of the music in your earphones to let you talk to your friends without removing the earbuds.

Dual Connect: When you remove both ear buds from the charging case, both will pair to your smartphone and perform in stereo. If you remove only one ear bud (left or right) from the case, it will pair to your smartphone and operate in mono mode.

Rechargeable Batteries: Each of the JBL Endurance Race 2 ear buds contains a 3.85-volt 70mAh Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery. The charging case contains its own 3.7-volt 600 mAh rechargeable battery. Fully charged ear buds provide up to 12 hours playback time with ANC off, or 10 hours with ANC on. The charging case provides enough power for three additional full charges, for a total of up to 48 hours with ANC off. The total playback time with ANC on is 40 hours. The ear buds charge in the case in approximately two hours. A 10-minute Quick Charge will give you approximately 4 hours of playback time. The ear buds charge in the provided case with the supplied USB cable.

JBL Headphones App: The JBL Headphones App on your smartphone (iOS 14.0+, Android 7.0+) can enhance the performance and your listening experience of your Endurance Race 2 headphones. Active Noise Cancelling, Smart Ambient, and TalkThru features can be set up in the app. You can configure the controls you want for each ear bud, as well as set up your favorite Voice Assistant. The app provides several EQ presets to make your music sound the way you want it, as well as create or customize your own EQ settings. The JBL Headphones app can help you streamline pairing your headphones to your phone, and lets you keep up with the battery level of each ear bud individually.
