Water & Dust Proof Enclosure (IP67-Rating): The JBL Stage XD-6 loudspeaker is designed to work in a wide variety of applications, both indoors and outdoors. Its perfect for an outdoor location when protection from the weather is a requirement. The Stage XD-6 features a durable sealed enclosure that is both water and dust proof with a IP67 rating for protection from the harshest of outdoor conditions. The IP67-rating means that the speaker is fully protected from any dust ingress and immersion in water up to 1 meter (3') for up to 30 minutes. The XD-6 speaker can operate in 32° F (0° C) to 113° F (45° C) temperatures.

1" Aluminum Tweeter with HDI Waveguide: The JBL Stage XD-6 features a 1" aluminum dome tweeter with an acoustic lens for smooth on and off axis frequency response. The 1" aluminum dome tweeter sits in a HDI (High-Definition Imaging) waveguide with optimized geometry for smooth dispersion of clear and accurate highs with low distortion.

6.5" Graphite-Filled Polypropylene Woofer: The JBL Stage XD-6 houses a 6.5" graphite-filled polypropylene cone woofer with rubber surround for high output, high excursions, and extended bass response.

Magnetic Grilles: The included all-weather grilles magnetically attach to the front-baffle of each outdoor loudspeaker. They can be easily attached and detached.

Binding Post Terminals: The JBL Stage XD-6 outdoor speaker is outfitted with a set of binding post terminal that will accept bare wire (up to 12AWG), pin-connectors, spade-lugs, and banana plugs (single only).

• Use 16AWG wire for speaker wire lengths less than 50'
• Use 14AWG wire for speaker wire lengths of 50' to 100'
• Use 12AWG wire for speaker wire lengths greater than 100'

Mounting Options: The JBL Stage XD-6 can be tabletop or wall mounted in a horizontal or vertical position. The speaker can simply be positioned vertically or horizontally on a flat tabletop surface using the supplied self-adhesive rubber feet. It can also be mounted vertically or horizontally on a wall using the included bracket. The bracket features a ball-and-socket joint that allows you to angle the speaker by tilting it up/down (+/-45°) and swiveling it left/right (+/-45°), so you can better aim the sound at your main listening area. The bracket positions the speaker 2.875" away from the wall.
