It has been so long since I've bought car speakers, but it was an easy install with the suggested extras. The overall sound is clean, and I thought the price was good. I would get them again. I gave it a 4 because nothing is perfect

Could Have Been Better

A little disappointed with this buying experience. I had to break some tabs off mounting rings and I think that could have been mentioned in instructions. I was rotating the speakers trying to get speakers to fit the rings since there was no mention in instructions. The screws sent with speakers were twice as long as needed and hit the door not allowing the speakers to fit flush. Again, I think this could have been mentioned in instructions. And finally, I don't think the sound is as good as factory speakers I removed.

I wanted to like these speakers but there was just no way. The high end (tweeter) was so harsh and shrill that it was impossible to listen to them. And this was with the treble turned down to -3. The frequency spectrum just did not sound right. Returned.
