usb cable is a little short to run through the headliner. Wish it was about 18 inches longer. It works. Just not ideal. Didn't use the add a fuse.
Pros: Works for what I wanted. Compact size.
Cons: Short usb cable

Works very well
Jeremy from Victoria, TX on 1/23/2023
Used this product to install dash cams in a 2016 Kia Sorento, 2017 and 2022 Chevy Silverado. Easy to read instructions and plenty of wire is provided. Haven't had an issue with this product in over 4 years since I started using it.
Pros:
Cons: With so much wire left over, you must strategically bundle it and tuck it somewhere out of the way.

Everything I needed and more to hardwire dashcams in to my wife's car on Christmas day. Nice to have everything I needed and not have to wait for a regular business day to go out and get necessary bits and pieces. Only issue I had at all is I placed a second camera in the back window looking rearward and the power cord was a few feet too short to make it all the way back up to the fuse box under the dash so I soldered in an extension, not a big deal at all.

Easy install
Michael from Miami, FL on 5/15/2022
Nice kit but wires are too short to reach rear seat fuse block. So I had to run the camera's wire under the hood not being sure about the weather and heat resistance
Pros: Easy install
Cons: Short wires for me

Worked exactly as intended with my A301W dashcam. The included Add-A-Fuse installed without issue and everything works exactly as advertised when connected to 12V constant.
Pros: Easily integrates and has reasonable cable length.
Cons: The USB cable isn't angled where it plugs into the dash cam, so the install doesn't look as clean as it would with a 90 degree angled cable.

Poor quality
Nathalie from Dresher, PA on 4/12/2022
The provided clips/fuse were way too thin compared to what was in my auto. The fuse kept slipping out, would not fit tightly and was totally different thickness from ALL the fuses in auto. I am researching how to purchase the proper/similar fuse to match what auto has or I will need to return the item and do without the "bump on" option. That was the whole reason camera was purchased as I needed the "bump on" feature!!

After several attempts to troubleshoot this. It just doesn't work. Cam works with the lighter plug but not hardwired.

Unfortunately, Hardwore kit was faulty
Crutchfield customer from Chicago, IL on 1/5/2022
Delivery and online purchasing was stellar. Unfortunately, I believe the product to be faulty. Could not get power to the device after several troubleshoots. Finally, decided to use the cigarette lighter to power the device.
Pros: Stellar online service and fast delivery.
Cons: Poor quality assurance.

Perfect
Crutchfield customer from Rochester, MN on 12/15/2020
I got sick of the stock wire taking up a valuable plug and just looking overall shoddy. This solved that problem by tucking away neatly and being powered by the fuse tap, out of sight, out of mind. The cord is plenty long enough .
Pros: Straightforward installation Easy to hide Kenwood quality

Find another way to hardwire your camera
Crutchfield customer from COVENTRY, CT on 8/1/2020
This kit is shoddily made. The first one didn't work at all. The second one worked for the camera, but the piggy-back fuse socket was loose, so what I plugged into it kept turning off. Quality control for this product is presumably horrible. If you can, find a different product to wire your Kenwood dash cam.
Pros: It's from Kenwood and, presumably, Crutchfield has a fair return policy.
Cons: It's not well made.

A must have if you have a KENWOOD Dash Cam. The fuse taps made it super easy to install in my BMW 328i. The hardest part was removing the A pillar so I can run the cable neatly out of sight.
Pros: Very easy, no splicing wires.
Cons: NONE
