Pricey BRICK
Ben from San Antonio, TX on 5/14/2025
DONT LET THE KENWOOD BRAND NAME FOOL YOU INTO THINKING THIS PRODUCT IS GOOD. I've owned one of these for only about a month and its already quit working properly. It doesn't record unless i press the record button, while I obviously have it SET UP to record automatically. And most of the time I press the record button, the screen just freezes and goes black and re-boots. The rear camera also completely went out, just shows black. The app is terrible too, really hard to connect to it to pull the videos. I've tried factory resetting it and even updating the firmware by connecting it to my computer, and it's still basically a brick. I'm pretty mad considering I spent quite a bit on this and the parking kit, and spent hours installing it. Kenwood customer support has not responded to me at all, of course. I don't know maybe this thing just wasn't built for the Texas heat, but I definitely feel like I wasted my time and money on this horrible product
Pros: Name brand?
Cons: -doesn't record when it's supposed to -constantly crashing and re-booting -rear camera completelystopped functioning after not that long -Terrible app

Needs suction mount
Kevin from Hemet, CA on 4/21/2025
I bought to use in a rental car for a trip across country. My only problem with It is it came with a stick on mount and when I went looking for a suction mount I didn't find any specifically made for it I had to get a universal kit off of Amazon and modify it with a file. Seems like it will work ok but one that was molded for it would be better.
Pros:

Kenwood DRV-A510WDP
Anthony from Flanders, NJ on 11/12/2024
Nice little camera. Easy to install and plenty length of cable to run to the back camera. Screen is small and harder to see than some camera and rear camera screen is even smaller on the screen. But easy access to the video files from my cell phone makes getting the files easy.
Pros: Small footprint. Plenty of cable length. Records both front and rear at the same time.
Cons: View screen is small. (Side aftect of the small camera size)
