Product Research
Woofers: The woofer cone is blue Pearl Mica Injection-Molded Polypropylene. Uniform pearl mica crystals form an overlapping structure that adds strength and heat resistance to polypropylene; the result is reduced distortion and improved reliability.
Midranges: The speaker has a 2-3/4" PEI cone midrange. PEI (Poly-Ether-Imide) is a polymer film that has ideal sound characteristics for use as a midrange. It allows the midrange to produce a wider soundstage for better imaging.
Tweeters: The speaker has a 1" PPS balanced dome tweeter. A semi-dome tweeter has a dome placed inside a cone. "Balanced dome" tweeters are semi-dome tweeters with equal reproduction area given the cone and dome portions of the tweeter.
Super-Tweeters: The speaker uses a 13/16" PPS dome super-tweeter.
