Female to female connections don't work
Timothy from Sitka, AK on 3/29/2025
2008 Toyota Highlander
Well the speakers are great but the installation was a bit of a pain. The wire harness that was sent for my car to the tweeters both had female connections so I had to get male and female connections because the sizes of the factory and the harness from Crutchfield were not available at the hardware store. I am not sure if I knew before I started that I would need a hole saw for the tweeter bracket. I was not prepared for the hole saw and the tweeter and harness both having female connections. I do appreciate the fact that the wire harness and mounting bracket were free but it could have been smoother.
Pros: Free harness and mounting bracket.
Cons: Wrong connectors.

Just ok. But easy-ish to install
Joshua from Ashburn, VA on 3/12/2025
2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid
Fairly simple to install, had to splice in the tweeters and find a way to mount those but wasn't too terrible. Sound is just ok. Nothing amazing, they are decent but not much bass to them compared with the factory one I was replacing which was surprising. Tweeters also not very loud. But it does the trick. I'm not a huge audio nerd so I honestly don't know what to look for as far as specs with this kind of thing, I was just expecting something that would be comparable if not a step up from factory sound. But that seems not to be the case. If I had to do it again I think I would have opted for something with a bit more bass. But it is definitely better than a blown speaker which is what I had before.
Pros: Relatively easy install
Cons: Poor bass. Tweeters on the quieter side.

Nice Kenwood Speakers
Timothy from Panama City, FL on 3/1/2025
2020 Hyundai Elantra
Just got my speakers installed today. They seem to be pretty good. I have them just on a stock radio in a 2020 Hyundai Elantra, they could use more power but will work just fine. I chose to flush mount the tweeters on the outside versus trying to figure out a way to mount on the inside of the door panel. I did have to cut out a hole where my factory tweeter was, but it was easy with the templates on the speaker box and the tweeters look great and are very secure.
Pros: Nice speakers, fit great, Crutchfield made it very easy with the wire harness, speaker adapters and instructions.
Cons: None

Best 6 1/2 components for the money
Glenn from DAVISBURG MI on 1/11/2024
I bought a set of these a couple years ago, and they still sound great. Sound quality is good, but even better on an amplifier. Good for the money, can't beat the quality and sound reproduction for the price. I am buying a couple more sets for my daily driver.
Pros: Sound quality. Lows and highs.
Cons: Need more options to be available for mounting the tweeter with mid bass speaker

Tweeter doesn't fit without soldering/wiring/new mounting.
dominic from RALEIGH, NC on 12/30/2023
2005 Honda Pilot
Tweeter does not fit without wiring/soldering. The midrange has a super easy/super simple connection for the factory wiring- not sure why they couldn't make the same for the tweeter... The plastic bracket that came with each tweeter doesn't even look like it could fit on the tweeter. Maybe I am overlooking something. On my 2005 Pilot.

Nice sound for nice price
Russell from Navarre, FL on 7/10/2023
The speakers sound great. Minus one star - I needed a surface mount tweeter and these don't have a suitable option for mounting *on* a surface. They have several ways to mount under or through a surface, but not above the surface. I liked the sound for the price, so I created my own solution for surface mount. Happy with the results!
Pros: Nice sound Nice price
Cons: No surface mount option for tweeters

5 stars BUT a big caution.
Marc from Mandeville, LA on 12/21/2022
Ultimately returned because I don't think they were a good match to my stock head unit in that they weren't getting enough power to shine. They need an amp behind them but I wasn't wanting to do all that as I just needed some replacement speakers. I'm sure they would be great with the right pairing of power.

Nearly perfect
Alexander from INDIO, CA on 10/13/2022
2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser
Great sounding components for the price. The only drawback is that you cannot attenuate the volume of the tweeters. If you're unable to utilize a DSP or multichannel amp, the highs will melt your ears. I ended up layering fabric over the tweeters to reduce the overall volume and provide a warmer sound.
Pros: Great overall sound quality and build Reasonably priced
Cons: No tweeter attenuation

2013 Camaro install
Crutchfield customer from Genesee Depot, WI on 4/25/2020
installed these speakers in the doors of 2013 Camaro SS, they fit good with no issues, the tweeters will have to be modified to work in the factory location but they will fit . in my opinion these speakers have to be driven by sufficient watts or they wont make that big improvement your looking for. I used a 4 channel amp bridged to get 90RMS x2 , the speakers are 80RMS, (I just set the amp gains lower as to not exceed the 80rms) this combo sounds really good and so far I'm happy with the purchase. I can however, see someone disappointed in them if their only driving them with a factory radio that is only putting out say 15 watts or so, they need more to really ROCK!
Pros: Sound great, fit with no problems.
Cons: need a lot of patients to install the tweeters.

Sound quality is good, but the install was a bit of a hassel. I knew I had to fabricate something for the tweeters, but I expected the six inch speakers to match right up and they did not. If I stacked the two different adapter rings, the door panel wouldn't go back in place, so I had to modify one set.

Perfect Speakers - Terrible Tweeters
Peyten from Kearney, NE on 6/9/2018
1997 Nissan Pathfinder
The P710PS speakers by Kenwood are amazing! I replaced my factory Bose front and rear door speakers and was blown away by the impressively crisp, and capable sound. The only reason these speakers don't get 5 stars from me is because of the speakers that come with. They are terrible. I went through 2x sets (4 tweeters) and everyone of them blew with less than a month's worth of use. However, I bought standalone ST01 Kenwood tweeters to replace them and they are amazing.
Pros: * More than capable to produce amazing sound quality for any genre * Great highs, mids, lows
Cons: * Included tweeters are terrible

I absolutely love the sound that this component system comes with. My only difficulty was installing the tweeters on my 2016 F-150 because you have to splice the wires so you can maintain the factory connections because the grommet in the door is blocked by existing wires and I don't care to risk drilling through the metal to open up a new hole.
Pros: Easy install for the woofers Sounds fantastic
Cons: Need a better way to hookup the tweeters
