Great size and power, didn't want to have to run new speaker wire with the power output of the pdxv9 so had to look for an alternative and came across the kenwood and the great thing about this amplifier is all the power ground and inputs and outputs are all on the same side making installation much easier in my 03 civic si.

Originally bought 1 in October and quickly shorted out on me, Crutchfield was great sending a replacement because it was in the return period. New one worked great for a while but then about 5-months later had the same exact issue.
Pros: Great sound when it works.
Cons: Short circuits extremely easy and the fuses do nothing to protect it.

Coming Alive
Luther from Murfreesboro, TN on 2/28/2025
This amp pumps. I kept the factory head unit. So I paired the amp with LC7i unit. Speakers are 6.5 kickers in the doors and Cerwin Vega 8" in rear deck. It made my car come alive. I had a Alpine Pxe C80 88 in it before. I didn't care for that amp. So I replaced it with the Kenwood. I have no regrets except buying that Alpine.
Pros: East to install and tune. Great bass.
Cons: None

Nice looking amp. I question the 500RM for the subwoofer.
Pros: Small to squeeze in tight spaces
Cons: 500RMS?
