This was recommended for my Jeep TJ. It isn't long enough. The male end fit well into the new head unit but the female end is too large for the antenna cable in a Jeep TJ. I made some adjustments to make it work, barely, but I think it's likely that it won't last and I will have to do something different when it comes loose.

Does exactly what was needed. Adapts the OEM antenna plug on my 2004 Lexus IS300 to the aftermarket head unit. Wish the fitment could be tighter but it is solid enough. Do not hear a difference in radio quality with this installed. Solid addition in Crutchfield's discounted packages.

I was very disappointed in this connector. After install, it wouldn't even pick up the local station. Then I realized that it works much better if you remember to plug it into the stereo before you install it. After that, it worked awesome. I've had issues with radio reception on aftermarket units. Not so with this one.

Just needed a little more length. My old Kenwood antenna connection was at one side of the old unit, My new Kenwood antenna connection is on the other end (in the wrong direction, of course). This handled the job perfectly!

This is a simple antenna cable extension. I needed it because the antenna input was located on the far side of the new receiver that I installed (versus the factory unit). I could not free up any slack from the factory antenna cable. It allowed me to handle the new receiver outside of its mounting position with the "slack" introduced by the new wiring harness. The extra length made it easier to handle the installation.

the reason I'm leaving a bad review this because Crutchfield sent me the wrong one originally with my kit. originally, they sent me one for a Chrysler vehicle that did not fit my vehicle this is frustrating because I have to contact them to have them send me a different antenna adapter. It was more frustrating because I had to leave my vehicle disassembled for an entire week while they shipped me the new adapter.

This is a METRA antenna cable with Motorola connectors (female to male). I always assumed these cables were some sort of adapter cable (converting one size connector to another size), but that's not it at all. All this does is extend the factory cable to make it easier to install a new stereo. The connectors are the exact same size as your factory cable. This just makes the length of the cable longer.

Pros: Allows for more room to slide the radio out to check wiring, etc, without having to disconnect the antenna.

Cons: More cable means more to get cramped behind your stereo.

What can I say but it is a cable. It is high quality and exactly what I needed and was actually long enough to fit where I needed it to. That was a huge plus indeed.

This DOES NOT fit properly with the stock 2002 Jeep Wrangler antena cable. Had to take everything apart as stereo kept going off. Ended up retroftiing old stock cable with the new Stereo

Works as it should; it's an extension for the antenna cable, and guess what!! It extends the antenna cable!!! For those of you with Jeep Wrangler TJ's, there's another antenna connection behind the glove box. During the install, make sure this connection is still tight. After my install, I had no radio reception. I figured out quickly, that this connection had pulled apart.

Works great no problems with this product recommend to all jeep owners ,Easy hookup, and plenty long to move radio around while installing.Just plug one end into the factory antenna and the other end into the stereo. Wish everything was this easy. Works the way it should, no problems
