Does not fit Oldsmobile Alero
Glenn from Tacoma, WA on 11/14/2021
1999 Oldsmobile Alero
1999 Olds Alero. The connector is the radio side of the connector, not the speaker side. I ended up cutting off the OEM existing wire at the speaker and crimping spade terminals on to it. There was sufficient wire length in the harness to connect the new speakers without strain. The Alero has a tweeter on the sail panel. I removed the wire running to it and the inline filter since the new door speaker has a built in tweeter. The cable itself seems very good quality. It just doesn't work on the Alero, and Crutchfield shouldn't be telling people it does.
Pros: Well made
Cons: Wrong gender for the speaker side of the connector.

If you're planning on buying speakers from Crutchfield do not buy these cause they come with the speakers for free. And in my case I had to splice them because they weren't long enough for my grand am.

Metra 72-4530 Speaker Wiring Harness
Tracy from Ballwin, MO on 12/16/2018
2005 Pontiac Grand Am
This was a completely useless item sent as part of the installation for a 2005 Pontiac Grand Am. It should be 12-18 in long. This short connector was unused - I spliced in the OEM connector, which is what I would have had to do with this one too.
Pros: None
Cons: Way too short for my car.

Greatly simplified installation. Exact connection type to vehicle on end and speakers on the other. No splicing needed. Was included with speakers at no additional cost. Kudos to Crutchfield site for automatically including it in my cart based on the vehicle details I provided when choosing the speakers.
Pros: No splicing required. Exact match to vehicle's wiring harness.

Too short to use and would bypass the upper mounted tweeter if used in my 2001 Grand Am. Threw them in the trash.
