You get what you pay for.

2 of the 4 sent were dropping connection. One wouldn't work at all unless the bad wire was pinched and held at a very specific angle. Strands of copper hanging out of the back of the connector. Diagnosing the problem made the install take hours and left me with a system that didn't work without buying new parts or improvising my own.

Regarding use with Kicker 47KSC69304. These do assist in preventing cutting vehicle factory wires but still require using a crossover/splitter with the aforementioned speakers. This leads to a wiring bundle that may be hard for some to install, and still clear automatic windows. I do recommend for the price.

You'll need to do some work to make them work

These are awesome in the sense that they'll just plug into your brand new speakers and you don't have to cut your factory wiring to add new wires. The major downside that I experience with them was that the connectors were tad bit too small compared to the connecting and on the speakers themselves. I had to force them on and if you force them on too much you could force breaking the end on the speaker which would make your speaker useless. Just know that you'll have to tinker with it to make it work. Otherwise are great

Only reason they were a 4 is because I had to cut the smaller speaker side off as my speakers I bought had to larger spades instead of a large and a small. Other than that. Perfect fit on the vehicle side

Bought these for some in door speakers for my Chrysler 300. They ended up working fine, but I had a pretty frustrating issue at first. To preface, the white wire is positive and the black wire is negative... this is normal for low voltage audio signals and is the OPPOSITE of higher voltage electrical where black is live and white is neutral. While installing, I checked these against the wiring chart for my car from both Crutchfield AND the manufacturer and found that these adapters were backwards. The pins for the positive and negative are swapped from what they should be, based on the wiring diagram for the 300 (and Challenger and Charger). So I swapped the pins in the plug and put everything together. However, the new speakers sounded awful. I triple and quadruple checked everything and made sure that the wires matched the diagram and the positive signal was connected to the positive terminal on the speakers. With the poor sound, I decided to do the battery test on the old factory speakers to see which pin is actually positive. Turns out, either the wiring diagrams are all wrong, or these cars are wired with reversed polarity to all the speakers. What crutchfield and Mopar have marked as the positive wires actually connect to the negative terminal on the factory speakers. In other words, these backwards adapters are correct out of the package. So if you have one of these cars, ignore the wiring colors and just plug these in as they are.

Metra's website says the 72-6514 fit a 2014 Wrangler. It doesn't ask which OEM system you have, it just says they fit. And after a little research the 6514 do work for my 2014 Wrangler that has the Alpine upgrade. Crutchfield says the 6514 do NOT work, but that the 72-6515 do. Judging from pictures it looks as if the OEM side of the adapters are the same, but the polarity is reversed on the 6515 version. I cannot find the 6515 anywhere else but Crutchfield. Not even Metra's website lists them. So I received the 6514 and did a little research on my own. I have a speaker tester and used that to figure out which connection was which on the OEM speaker and then looked at the OEM plug and the adapter. I used the speaker in the rollbar to do this. And these are correct for my application. So I hope this helps someone figure out which is the correct adapter.

Works great only reason it doesn't get a 5 star is because the push pin ends are very tight and will bend the pin on the speaker if you are not careful. I had to open up the push in a little to fit better.

The harness connector worked great, but the red plastic tabs were WAY too small to fit the input tabs on my speakers. I had to cut them all off and use different crimp on adaptors, which it seems Crutchfield already knew about, because they included those alternate adapters in the kit they sent me.
