Cable is about 2 inched too short for door install
Steven from Black Mountain, NC on 12/8/2024
2000 Toyota Tacoma
The connectors fit good but the wires were too short for my purposes. I installed one door but did not like the stress relief. On the second door I used the old connector with an inline crimp connector with heat shrink on the wires provided with the speaker after I broke the wire harness. There was excess wire length but it made the install easier and the wire was hidden behind the door panel. I then went back and repeated the process on the other door. I am glad I did because the stress relief would have eventually been a problem. I am glad the wire harness was included, but the crimp connectors I had made my install pretty simple. It took more time than I anticipated but the end product is better.

Too short
Lloyd from Bridgeport on 3/22/2023
1998 Toyota Corolla
This harness is very short. It almost doesn't reach my speakers. There is no such thing as cable routing/management when the cable length only has enough for a straight shot. I was lazy and didn't want to solder additional cable length though so I used it anyway. It works fine right now, but I know when I have to make changes to the setup later I am going to have a frustrating time (it's a nightmare trying to use the female/male connector once the speaker has been installed onto the door).
Pros: -Plugs into to factory harness -has plastic tab to stick into door
Cons: -too short -plastic door tab can't be installed onto door because cable won't reach speaker -very tight speaker-connector fit, had to put a lot more force to connect to speaker than I was comfortable with

Worked perfectly for my 2000 Tacoma, plug and play with the original speaker wires. No soldering necessary which is nice in case you ever want to upgrade in the future!
Pros: Fits speakers, length, fits original car speaker cords.
Cons: Cost of shipping for just these from crutchfield since I bought my speakers elsewhere. Still overall worth it.
