Had to drill all new holes to mount the Rockford Fosgate R1675-S 6.75" speakers in the brackets. Only 1 hole matched, and if I used it the speaker was not centered at all in the bracket. Haven't mounted them in the vehicle yet. Will update if need be.

Fits toyota 2020 highlander frondoor

These brackets were a great fit for my Highlander toyota 2020 front door. Needed to drill 2 holes in the bracket to have the original screw holes in my door be used. Used so dynamat to dampen vibration on the bracket. Very easy install.

Fits 2017 Tundra

Used these for the front doors on a 2017 Tundra. Crutchfield website says they're not recommended for my vehicle, but they fit perfectly on my truck and I had no clearance issues anywhere. If you need them for a Tundra, they WILL fit!

Bad experience.

Didn't line up at all with the exception 2 of 4 screw holes, speakers didn't line up except for 2 screw holes. Had to modify mounting ears to mount to door and had to screw into the flat area for speaker to be mounted. Horrible product that was said to fit my truck and wasn't even labeled for my truck but listed by Crutchfield as for my truck. In closing, I was at least able to make it work and Crutchfield in their defense did not charge me for them.

Purchased power base 6 3/4 for my 2023 nisssan frontier front speakers and the Brackets they sent were not a perfect match for hole alignment in my door,I did make them work,I got 2 holes to line up and had to file the other 2 wider. Good news is it was worth it, because changing the factory speakers was a plus.

Could be a little better but work well.

They worked well, but I had to cut out the wire hole for my 2018 Tacoma. It's also odd that the speaker crunches down on the plastic inserts, inside. But seems to hold it well. Didn't use any of their screws, which are ridiculous.

Metra 82-8147 Speaker Mounting Brackets

These do their job just fine but they are so universal that some modification may be required. I also didn't like that they are not a dedicated 'left' and 'right'. Its two of the same exact bracket, so on one door it fit slightly better than on the other. You may need to break off tabs or rotate these using the various screw holes to fit properly.

2018 Subaru Forester needs modification.

These won't fit the 2018 subaru Forester without a lot of modification. The best bet is to modify the old bracket. You will also need to trim the door panel.

Had to drill extra holes to line up with factory mounting holes.

This mounting bracket is waaaaaaay off in holes alignment for 2022 Nissan Frontier front door speakers. I had to drill holes to line up. And the perimeter of this bracket is too large and it interferes with the door panel sitting flushed. So they had to be trimmed off. Over all not what I would call it, an "adapter."

Honestly too much play for a 6.5 speaker it's well suited for a 6.75 the mounting holes have to be hit at an angle to make work slowly working one at a time all together or you won't get it it's nothing that soundproof mat won't fix but why can't it just be a right fit no play and the little bolts that come with it why is this the only way to make it work for a Toyota how about bumping it out 1/4" and using a real mounting hope set up the bolts come right through the speaker you have to modify them with more washers to work or you have nothing to hold it to the bracket

These need a foam isolator between them and the doors on my 2015 Subaru Forester XT (IMO). And, they require cutting to fit the speakers I purchased. So, depending on your speakers, just be aware.

Does not fit properly for 2019 Tacoma access cab

Does not properly fit the front door of 2019 Tacoma Sport access cab. Only 3 of the 4 screws would line up with the existing door panel holes. Crutchfield may need to reevaluate the Metra part numbers for later generation Tacomas, or maybe the access cab is just a bit different, I don't know. I still used them since everything was taken apart. Also had to break off the inner tabs in order to allow the speaker to sit flush in the bracket. Then attached the bracket with speaker in it to the door panel with one screw left off because it did not line up with the hole and I will not drill a new hole into my door. Hope it doesn't rattle. Rear door is same way (different Metra bracket part number) only it uses 3 screws which means only 2 screws are holding it on, pretty sure it will rattle. Not very happy about this.

Tacoma upgrade

It did improve the sound, not as expected. I did like the plug and play feature on the items. I guess the factory radio has to be overide with the DSR1 to get more from the factory radio or replaced. Also thinking on getting the Alpine PSU-300TCM.

Hardware not helpful, no customer support

The brackets themselves were solid and had enough universal characteristics to allow a decent fit. Unfortunately, following the 'Crutchfield custom installation' instructions made the install in my Prius nearly impossible. Customer service was NO help. None of the mounting hardware was usable. Crutchfield products and custom install instructions and other tools used to be so thorough and focused on each vehicle, now its crap. The hardware for these did not fit, the 'recommended' speaker mounting hardware that I paid extra for did not fit. Rather than paying Crutchfield top dollar, I could have bought speakers anywhere since the install was a completely self-guided project anyway. Highly disappointed in the Crutchfield brand.

If you have a Nissan Titan 2nd gen you will have to do some tweaking

I guess these are better then nothing but definitely not a good fit for my 2017 Nissan Titan. None of the holes in the bracket lined up with factory mounting points. I drilled a few new holes and made it work.

Front doors 2018 Toyota 4Runner

I used these brackets in the front doors a 2018 Toyota 4Runner and replaced stock paper thin speakers from the factory. They feel very solid and nicely built and very clean. These made the install a snap. well worth it.

These worked great to install Infinity Reference REF-6532ex speakers in the front doors of my 2017 Subaru Impreza. I had to cut the plastic on the the bracket to install the speaker in the left door - there were bolts in the way that prevented the bracket from sitting flush with the door. Not a huge deal.

They work fine but screw kit is awful. I put a hole in a brand new speaker trying to tighten the flat head screw and had to purchase a second set. If you use these brackets don't use supplied screw kit. Holes don't line up with speaker very well.

Good material I say that. Otherwise when adding speakers to my cart for a 2017 Subaru Impreza these were the brackets that popped up and we're said to fit the front doors but when going to the specific page it says it doesn't fit. I can confirm that they DO NOT fit the 2017 Subaru Impreza without major modifications to the material.

The directions were not helpful at all. Come to think of it there was nothing but a parts list. Also, to get the speakers I purchased into these brackets I had to cut/saw all the inside tabs. I also believe these did not come with the screws to connect the bracket to the metal framing of the car.

Nice Speaker Adapter w/Some Issues

The Kenwood KFC-1665S speakers purchased, aligned and mounted easily to these Metra 82-8147 brackets. I installed these speakers in the rear deck of a 2013 Toyota Camry. My complaint is that a cardboard template is needed, but not included, to enable marking the bracket mounting holes from inside the trunk. It is difficult to do with the bracket itself due to line of sight and ability to center the speakers properly. Holes cannot be drilled from the top of the shelf due to the pitch of the glass. Also there is no gasket on the bracket and I had to make a (foam) gasket to sandwich between the bracket and the sheet metal to eliminate potential buzz and cover small mismatches (the rear deck is relatively flat, but not completely). Aside from these two issues, it was convenient that the bracket acted as an adapter to allow the round 6.5" speakers to be mounted onto the 6x9 speaker hole that exists on the Camry.

Ordered these for a 2016 Subaru Forester. I already had a pair of Polk db651s speakers hanging around and decided I would install them in the new car. Was surprised to find out that the factory speakers were a cheap pair of 5.25's in 6X9 adapters. I ordered the adapters. Not only did the adapters fit the door perfectly, but the speakers fit the adapter perfectly as well, making for a very easy install.

Great bracket. I would highly suggest a sound deadening piece to add to this. Depending on your car, this may or may not rattle against the door panel when reverberating in low bass.

they do not come close to fitting in the front doors of my 2013 Toyota Avalon (without JBL speakers and without Navigation). there is a huge gap between the bracket and the pre-existing hole in the door and only two screw holes line up the other two are over the gap so I can't even drill.

perfect fit

Perfect fit for the front door location on my new 2014 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Premium. I tried to reuse the ones I pulled from my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser, but the holes did not line up. Crutchfield had not done the research on the 14 T4R yet, so I took a small leap of faith and bought these, and they were a perfect fit
