When I first looked at the kit I was skeptical. Once I assembled and test fitted it, I saw its strength and proper fit. With the stereo installed I am very happy with its design.

Does the job

Very good dash kit, kind of snug upon final install but definitely was able to get it. for the radio i used, if the screw holes on the bottom were maybe 1/4'' more towards the radio face it would fit like a glove. but like i said it is definitely manageable and looks great. Also gray matches with nothing in a GTO, i painted it matte black, looks tons better! This was a suggestion from one of the technicians i coordinated with, and it was definitely a great suggestion. can't blame him for the manufacturers error.

Very professional look

Very nice trim piece, looks great once installed. Only giving 4 stars because the instructions were terrible. The kit has two brackets to attach to the radio. There are multiple sets of screws and many ways you *could* attach them. took some trial and error to get the right positioning. And, maybe I am just dumb, but it would have been so helpful to have instructions saying 'install the face plate to the dash trim BEFORE reinstalling over the radio. I was trying to clip it into place around the radio after the dash was back together and that just will not work. But if you put the face plate trim in place before reattaching the factory center console? Piece of cake.

Perfect fit but not the color

Kit fits well but didn't like that it doesn't come in black. Didn't realize it at first, that it was gray. Doesn't match any color of the interior and kinda sticks out. May just paint it black.

The dash kit fit as expected. Like others have said, it doesn't match the interior 100%. However, it is very good quality and the fact that it doesn't match doesn't bother me. It still looks great.

Metra Dash adapter

Fits perfectly, as said before, the finish does not match factory. Krylon flat black matches closely so you only need to sand and put a coat or 2 on to pass. Other than that its a 5.

Lots of work for a match

This kit was free with the purchase of my head unit, so I can only complain but so much. That being said, Metra/ Scoshe made NO attempt to make the fascia look like factory. I spent a few hours sanding this faceplate with varying finer grits and then respraying it with Krylon flat black before the match was passable. The kit has a fantastic fit and besides the slight rounding in the corner, it fits just like stock. My wife does not notice a difference after I refinished it. Even more unfortunately, there are no other options for this faceplate.

Great fit, works perfectly

Fits excellent and looks great. No gaps and the lines are tight all the way around. Yes, the texture does not match the car's stock texture on the dash but I've never had an install kit that wasn't the same black textured surface, so I got exactly what I expected.

Fits great, looks not so great

This kit worked awesome for installing a new receiver, and the fitment is excellent. There are no gaps or anything to tell that this is an aftermarket installation... except, and you can see this in the photo, the texture of the plastic doesn't match the stock dash in any way. But nothing 15 minutes of sanding can't take care of. I suggest if you end up with this kit, get yourself some sand paper (500 grit, then 1000 then 1200) and wet sand it, then shoot it with some flat black paint. Then it'll closely resemble the factory look.
