Finish is nice. Was extremely difficult to find the right combination of mounting holes.

Needs better instructions

the instructions need to be better. A couple of problems were found on install. the trimming of the right side of the dash needs more detail, had to remove the factory rail slide in the dash, remove right side dash clip next to heater controls.

1992 Ford F Series
This dash kit fits really well in the OBS Ford. I installed a new stereo in my '92 F150 and the fit of the dash kit is great. My ac/heat controls are more secure now than with the factory bezel. I did have to cut the dash to get the stereo to fit. The directions included were adequate, but I definitely took the approach of cut a little, then cut a little more using my oscolating tool.
Pros: Great fit Easy installation Great price when purchasing a stereo
Cons: The side plate holes are close but not a perfect fit. The plastic is thin where the screws tighten.

1993 Ford F Series
The kit took more adjustments and fine tuning to make things work properly than I expected. It took a little more patience than I usually have but slowly working through the fitment gets you to a fantastic result. I love the way the final product looks.
Pros: Final appearance looks great
Cons: You have to be patient and tweak the fitment to get everything right

1993 Ford F Series
Used on a ford f150 XL. I only encountered one problem when modifying the dash to make this adapter work correctly. On the left side there is a tiny bolt which I believe is a 7mm that needs to be removed so that the adapter fits properly. The instructions do not specify this. A pro installer did a YouTube video on the installation process. Other than that, it fits great and looks great!!

Fit well, comes only in black , seems to me it would look better matching dash so I may end up painting. Overall a must have if your going double din.
Pros: Covers up that big hole you made.
Cons: No color options.

Love the way it looks in my OBS Ford. It is tedious to do. I have no complaints of the product itself. Just know, when you go to do it you might have to find away around your dash being brittle behind the ac component where it screws in. There is a great video on YouTube that goes of it be sure to watch it before you get started.

The instructions do not mention a metal dash support bar that must be removed for installation. Also, the mounting plates are made of plastic, limiting how tightly you can thread the screws and resulting in less secure mounting. The plates should have been made from aluminum.
