Great look but needs improvements
Curtis from Battle Ground on 12/23/2023

Installed on my Alpine Stereo. It fits easily around the unit when assembled and looks great when installed into the dash. However, the screws holding the kit to the unit are TOO SHORT, they need to be longer. Due to this, it feels that you're tightening the screws, the plastic is being squeezed by the head of the screw and may break the plastic due to the plastic thickness. I'm not sure what type of plastic is used for strength, i.e. PLA, PETG or ABS, but it does make a difference for durability purposes. Consequently, one day after install, the stereo was loose. Upon inspection I discovered that the left side of the plastic arm holding the stereo crumbled (literally). I know manufactures want to keep their price point down, but it shouldn't be at the cost of reliability/durability. The Crutchfield staff stood behind this product and were kind enough to send me another kit.
Pros: Looks good in Dash
Cons: Screws are too short, Plastic side supports are weak.

Metra 95-7340B Dash Kit

The dash kit bezel was a perfect fit and looked great. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars was I had to splice in to on of the factory harnesses for the steering wheel control module with this install kit. It should be a completely clean install with no cut wires on the vehicle side. That wasn't the case. That was disappointing. But overall it was easy to install and looked clean and professional when complete.
Pros: Good fit, clean look, easy install.
Cons: Still had to manually splice into the factory harness to retain steering wheel controls. That's why I paid the extra for the steering wheel control kit, so I wouldn't have to do that.

Works with kia serento setup double DIN
Danny from Pikeville, KY on 8/1/2022
2011 Kia Sorento
Works well for setup to use with double DIN.
Pros: Easy to setup and screw into place. Used 2-3 per side.
Cons: Screws that came with head unit should have been at least 1/8th" longer to use. Sides are plastic. Head unit came with a metal cage to use. But no holes to hold it. Had wire from past projects to make a ground wire for head unit to ground to vehicle ground wires to hold unit in place.

Not a bad dash kit. Goes together really easy. The holes on the sides for HU mounting don't line up perfectly so it takes a little finesse. Choose your HU supplied mounting screws carefully. Some might be a little short.

Didn't Fit

Tried to use this kit to install a Pioneer 4200. Could not fit the kit around the unit, finally it broke. Also tried to fit around a Jensen vm9022, that also would not work.
