Works Great

This kit worked well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the instructions. It said you could use the old mounts if you wanted. Being they were metal I did that then had to replace with the plastic kit ones as the angle was wrong.

Metra 95-8248B Toyota Kit

This kit fit perfectly in my car. I was not able to use the original mount brackets because I couldn't figure out how to mount them. The plastic replacement brackets worked just fine for me. the bezel makes it look like the original equipment mount.

Works but isn't good quality

It went into the car fine. Feels cheep and flimsy. the gaps between it and the stereo are too big. Hard to adjust the position of the radio.

Metra 95-8248B Toyota Kit

Fit my vehicle like an OEM part. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the first set sent to me had some cosmetic blemishes, but Crutchfield sent me over a replacement right away. The only other gripe I would have is that the brackets are made of plastic so they're not very rigid and took a lot of adjusting to get the radio flush with the faceplate.

Very difficult to get radio aligned in all the axis. The bezel was nicely done, the bracelets left a lot to be desired.

Great fit, looks professional. Getting the installation angle right took several adjustments, but the end result was perfect. My only suggestion is having some sort of markings on the bracket to indicate suggested starting locations for the screws. This would decrease the number of adjustments needed to get the angle of the headset right.

Aftermarket trim kit.

Nice trim for my 2019 Toyota highlander. Looks like it came from the factory. I used the mounting bracket off the factory radio. The only thing I had to add spacers to move the radio out to be flush with the trim. But that could just be my OCD.

Instructions could be better as it wasn't clear how to attach a single DIN radio. The fit and finish looks good in a Toyota Highlander.

Fitment is decent for universal use. Plastic radio brackets are pretty soft plastic.

Works, firment needs fine tuning

Fitment could be better. Leave the 4 outer screws/bolts loose to set radio. Would have liked two point to screw to radio on each side.

Looks good, fit well, came with clips for the bottom, top i assume fits a little loose because the vents hold in place.

It was OK, The fitment of the radio was not perfect. The adapter was a little bit bigger than the radio so I have a gap. I know there's other brands with less gap but I'm not gonna complain the job is finished.

Works fine installed in 2014 Toyota Highlander. Use caution, as plastic parts/tabs are a bit fragile - one piece broke off, but I was still able to fasten it securely. Appearance is not as polished in the dash as the stock head unit, but acceptable.

Poor fit in a Toyota Highlander 2015

Leaves a gap of at least 1/4 above the bezel. What the heck? I filled it with a strip of gray weather insulation foam. Really needs black because the gap is so big. In the picture I've loaded, it looks like the screwdriver is enlarging the gap. It's is NOT - that's the size of the gap and it's just the viewing angle. Installed in a 2015 Highlander Limited with a Kenwood stereo. Kenwood fit fine without any gaps around the stereo. I was installing a Kenwood DNR1007XR so after installing I realized that without the weather stripping, the yellow foam in the dash probably won't have been (that) visible but if you are installing a standard double DIN stereo it'll look horrible.

Absolute junk, worst dash trim kit I have ever seen

Agree with the first reviewer; horrible instructions and the trim bezel does not fit the screen of my new double-din Pioneer head unit - if you try to center the bezel you either have a gap on the left or right, plus you will also have a gap at either the top or bottom. This kit is junk, to be honest, and I rarely use that phrase. It's also very frustrating that you won't find this out until you 're ready to wrap up your install... looking for alternatives now.
