This kit made installing an aftermarket radio in my 2019 Subaru ascent straightforward. The brackets fit with no issues in the face plate integrated with the aftermarket unit with no issues and the 2019 Subaru ascent the aftermarket radio I was putting in was a single DIN body connected to a double DIN screen. I was able to mount the two electronics boxes that you have to keep basically on the same bracket locations that they came off of from the factory. The instructions say to place one of the boxes behind the aftermarket radio however, several of the aftermarket radios are single DIN bodies with double DIN screens on those units there is room to mount the boxes in the original locations. I had no issues getting a Sony a XV 6000 installed

Pros: Fits like it should, and looks great

Cons: Hard to remove after installed. I had to remove it to make an adjustment to the radio installation and ended up damaging one of the lower clips. The unit still fit and installed with no issues but make sure everything's the way you want it before you clip it in because once you clip it in it wants to stay.
