2004 Nissan Maxima
This piece looks flawless in my car. It does not look aftermarket at all and actually gives you an extra storage slot compared to the factory set up so that is nice. I had a professional install so I can't comment on the ease of fit, etc.

This kit fits perfectly . I expected the color to be a little off , but it is closer to the dash color than I thought it would be .

this kit was NOT a perfect fit for my 2004 Maxima- bought it with Kenwood KDC- HD545U head unit and kit has a small maybe 1/8 inch gap due to either head unit sticking too far or kit not being cut to size. But hey, it works.

2005 Nissan Maxima
I have an 05 SL Maxima. Overall this is OK. I do want to note this DOES NOT match the factory finish. You'd never know it though unless you're told... If that's a big point, keep that in mind. But everyone that's seen this has never noticed until I pointed it out. Overall it's great. Perfect for what it is.

I was a little hesitant because of the reviews just like the review before me, but I bought it and it fit perfectly for my new pioneer flip out tv stereo :) No complaints here. The color matched perfectly as well with the interior of the car and stereo section. Highly recommend it for the 2004 Nissan Maxima :)

Great Kit

I was a little nervous about getting this kit b/c of the one other review but this one is a Metra kit. I was thinking that this one would be a different brand but it wasn't. The fit and color match, at least on my 04, was near perfect. The single din did fit and I didn't have to cut anything. The look is clean and it looks like the center dash was right from the factory. So if you need a new kit b/c the Bose in the Max gave out this is a great choice.

I purchased the Nissan Kit Item #120997404. Well what is said to be a single din size opening, really is not. I had to break out the old trusty router and cut it to fit so much for an easy install
