Perfect fit, perfect look

Simple and easy to use. Fits like a glove and looks original. The only reason you can tell it's not the original part is that it looks too new for a 15 year old car.

Well made, high quality product. Definitely a must have if you plan on installing an aftermarket receiver. The color matched perfectly. Transferring the controls from the original dash wasn't difficult at all. Detailed instructions were also included which helped quite a bit. Overall, it was a smart purchase. Thank you Crutchfield for stocking such great products!

Nice fit but not perfect alignment on the clips. Took some jiggling. Looks nice though and instructions were easy.

brackets did not match up for 4 screw installation, but the tech guy advised that 3 screws would be ok. The face plate matched up perfectly. Their tech guy was available on a Sunday!!

This kit was amazing very easy to read instructions and put it together took me about 30 min to put my head unit in I did have prior experience removing my factory radio though but very good kit

Worked great. Fit well. Only problem was the trim ring on the radio face wouldn't fit, but it doesn't bother me

Great fit and appearance

Fit perfectly into the dash. All tabs and clips aligned as anticipated. Only issue was slight interference with hazard light button. Simple filing of plastic flash within the button opening with round file resolved the issue.

Perfect fit for 2006 Honda Civic

This kit worked like a champ in 2006 Honda Civic. I just installed this with my son-inlaw and it was a perfect fit. Make sure the vents fit back in properly when pressing this in. Other than that, the instructions from crutchfield were top notch.

Very good quality product may need to do some trimming, depending on your size of your Radio head unit for a good fit

Fits into the dash well. Installation of single and double DIN units is easy. Material and color matches well enough. However, the fitment of the HVAC controls and hazard control is a little tight. You may notice the buttons sticking - some adjustment while torquing the fasteners may be required to alleviate pressure and clearances.

Metra Still the GOAT

Not much to say, worked well for my 8th gen Civic *but* the two screws you remove from the stock stereo go nowhere in this one. I felt reusing the bracket would've been nice for additional stability and or security but no big deal. The color is definitely different than the interior however as others have pointed out, or rather, not pointed out, it looks as if it belongs. Basically they wouldn't have cared if I didn't point out the color difference, so it's there but very reasonable / acceptable.

Metra 99-7816T Dash Kit

Purchased this dash kit for my 2007 Honda Civic LX. Color match is OK. In the direct sunlight, you can definitely see that it's a shade different color than the factory dash. But it is close enough for a 17 year old car. The thing I really disliked about this kit is the bracket that holds the stereo is all plastic. The plastic is flimsy and you have to be very careful that it does not crack when you put the screws in. In my opinion, that bracket should be made of metal. At the point of installation, I was anxious to get the job done so I used it. If I had to do it over again, I would purchase another brand online that has a metal bracket.

Metra 99-7816T Dash Kit

Great fit and finish - looks factory. Installed Boss 8" floating screen which driver can slide up/down to either hide or use the storage compartment. Well done, definitely worth the money.

Fairly easy to install. only issue was those 2 flat pieces weren't quite sure how they were to be used. also wish it came with screws to attach to stereo. had to use the screws that were used with the stock stereo and cracked the plastic pieces.
