Cheap plastic

Wow, this product is cheaply made. Looks good on the surface, until you realize the entire kit is made of plastic. The instructions abruptly cut off, leaving out a few steps like attaching the plastic and metal clips. They left out all of the stock mounting screw holes, so good luck having a good strong mount in your dash, the only thing holding your stereo in will be plastic clips; I guess they want to make it as easy as possible for car thieves to simply rip your entire dash out with no tools required and make off with your head unit. Also when transplanting the existing climate controls and emergency button over to the new dash assembly, the screw posts were visibly deformed from the screws because the holes were slightly too small for the stock screws. They also didn't include any screws to actually mount your head unit to the plastic bracket, and the ones that came with my head unit were too short. It really wouldn't have killed them to make some of this kit out of metal and provide all of the same screw mounting locations as the stock head unit for a more secure mount. I'd gladly pay like 20-30 dollars more if it meant it was higher quality.

Pretty good aftermaket dash kit

It has like soft touch surface while original is brown-ish glossy one. I decided to use a lacquer and put 3 layers on it, so I got glossy surface which looks a way closer to a factory one. Then I used to install factory metal\plastic clips (from OEM panel) to make this Metra dash panel sits well. Another thing, that emergency light button sits not flush on this aftermarket dash and there is a good gap around, so I used to stick a rubber sealant (adhesive) on the inner side, around the button so gap is not visible anymore. Made all that, panel settled very well and flush. There is a room for quality and construction improvement but its good, overall.

Pros: Good overall quality Kit has everything you need Fits Civic 9th gen well

Cons: Its better to use lacquer or spray something similar to make dash part shine otherwise its a big difference between this one and factory ones on the left side from the wheel Better to change clips with OEM ones - dash will sit stronger and flush
