A few months back I ordered an older Pioneer single din cd receiver type car stereo elswhere to replace the factory deck in my 15 Prius c. Since Crutchfield didn't stock the older unit I counted on their expertise to put together the wiring harness, adapters, etc to be able to install it. Things were going great until I tried putting the stereo unit into the dash adapter. Because of the way it's molded, it skews the face of the stereo unit toward the passenger side thereby making it very difficult to see the face from the drivers seat. I looked at ways to possibly modify/install the faceplate, but it's all one piece and, thanks to a slight bend on the lower right side of the faceplate, will only fit one way in the dash. I'm bummed it is the way it is because everything else went great. I would highly recommend the steering wheel control and wiring harness, but NOT the double to single din plastic adapter.
