Fits fine

This fits just like the factory, but is very fragile at the tip where it gets thin so be careful. The brackets work for the radio it is just hard to line up for cutout so the radio never truly is centered the way I like it. Other than that it fits like a glove.

The kit is nice and easy to install. The only downside is one of the 4 tabs on the right side of the passenger section of the vehicle was not included with the aftermarket dash panel. It fits just 'okay', but no where near an OEM fit. This is the only option for my vehicle, so not alternatives to try out. This was installed on a 2018 Toyota Camry.

Good but not exactly perfect

Over all the finish is really nice and is about as close to perfect match on color as you can get. However mine was curved in the box resulting in some weird gapping on the right. Hopefully it relaxes with time. The brackets for the head unit are very frustrating when trying to match the angle with the dash opening. A lot of trial an error but eventually got it. I'm not sure how to fix this just be aware you'll have to mount and unmount the brackets each time. I couldn't figure out an easy way to line everything up ahead of time. Otherwise its a decent product. The particular head unit I have sits back in the opening and not flush, which could probably be solved by sanding down the inner edge of the opening to make more room, but it wasn't something I wanted to risk messing up yet. Mostly just a preference issue on my end.

Dash Kit Sucks

The hole in the dash kit did not fit the new radio and left a 1/8" gap at the bottom. Alos, the hole in the dash molding was just barely wide enough to cover the ends of the radio so if the radio moved at all one end would pop through the opening. (It seemed there was an adapter plate missing.) I called the manufacture and they had no solutions and seemed annoyed that I had called. (I was told there was not an adapter for the radio.) Also in the installation instruction ,it said to use the OEM mounting bracket to mount the radio but none of the holes matched any hole in the radio. I used the supplied plastic mounting brackets and with a lot of modifying I got the plastic bracket to work but it was not pretty. So at best, there was a 1/8" gap at the bottom and with any movement, one side of the radio would pop through the face of the dash moulding.

This fits good as long as you are patient. Once I was done it looks like it was part of the car. It took me awhile to line it up the way I wanted it to once the radio was installed. My biggest complaint is it's really flimsy as it thins out and the tabs will break if not careful. Be patient and it will fit. For the price I think this piece should more sturdy.

I can't believe I spent almost $100 on such a cheap piece of plastic. If you're not careful you could break the thing installing it. It also does not have a perfect fit above my glove box compartment. It looks nice for a finished product but if you look up close you can see the small gaps where it doesn't fit perfectly. Also, the plastic brackets included are very cheap and flimsy. I can see my head unit move from the vibration of the road while moving. I tried to use the metal brackets from the stock head unit to secure it better but then the head unit would not line up with the new dash kit.

The kit did require some modification in order for the radio to fit flush, however it does still have a gap at the top and bottom. I am sure I could fill the gap and body work the panel, but the gap isn't real noticeable. I installed this in a 19 Camry SE, and the head unit is a Kenwood DDX 6706S.

Matches the sparkles within my interior around the ac unit and fits nicely in the car. Only con was that I had to do some trimming/sanding on the very edge of the panel due to the vent's panel being slightly angled and this panel being a complete 90°. Oh, and the panel was slightly too long, so I sanded the edge near the panel as well to have a better fit.

2020 Camry TRD Kenwood 1057xr Very cheap in quality, radio mount is plastic and makes the radio feel not secured. Part of the big piece needs to be clipped in where the radio mount is, so a small piece of the radio mount had to be cut off, making the radio even more flimsy. It has a small gap lining up with the factory piece just under it, top left of the glove box area.

Trim of similar quality to factory stereo, but with less clip-on snaps. Some imperfections in the DIN opening edge that clues someone to know it is not stock. To be fair, it is quite unnoticeable to the casual observer. Would have been nice if the side panel brackets were made of metal like the stock factory stereo. Just be careful not to tighten the four 10mm bolts too tightly or it might crack. A lot of trial and error needed to set the bracket screws in spots that enable the LCD face to sit just flush to the trim when snapped back into the dash.

2018-2020 Toyota Camry Dash Kit

I was nervous replacing such a large piece of the dashboard: worrying if it would match the rest of it, how well it would fit, etc. but this is a perfect match for the factory piece! I was pleasantly surprised to find that you mount the radio separately, then install the panel around it. This made it easier to work with, unlike the factory assembly which is one unit (the radio is attached the dash panel and the whole thing is removed as a single unit). The whole installation looks very neat & clean without the buttons around the radio screen. NOTE: It's hard to see in the photos, but it has the metallic flake in the panel to match the factory panel and the climate control panel.

A nice looking dash kit with room for improvements

If you're not paying attention to the imperfections, it's a really good looking aftermarket dash kit. However, there's a piece on the right edge that doesn't perfectly align with the A/C vent. Also, the clips on this aren't as durable and don't snap in as securely as the factory dash kit. As a result, you're left with an aftermarket dash kit that doesn't feel as sturdy as the factory dash. Luckily with all the other trim pieces snapped in place, this dash kit will stay put. One thing I like more about the aftermarket dash kit: you can detach the dash piece without removing the stereo with it. This makes it a lot easier to get to the four screws holding the stereo in place.

Does whats its supposed to. Looks like factory.

Worked for my card. Came scuffed on the front, but maybe it was me. Didn't read the instructions as well as i should have, you were supposed to reuse the factory red clips. Fit isnt perfect. There is a little bulging in the middle of the panel. This could be due to me but i don't think so as other people here have pictures that look similar to how mine turned out.

Functional kit, but.......

As others have mentioned, the final fit of the Metra trim kit for the Toyota Camry is not ideal. The area in front of the passenger side of the dash does fit very well. A small gap remained above the glove box area and around the air vent. Modifications had to be made to remove excess plastic on the Metra trim piece (using a crosscut file) to get even close to a desirable fit / look.

Great Dash kit for a 2018 Camry. Color is a nice match. Fits well besides by the passenger door vent, where there is a one-eighth inch gap between the panels. Noticeable if you're a super picky person. Otherwise great dash kit.

Good but not same as OEM fit & can be improved

I wanted to put an aftermarket stereo in my 2018 Camry as I wanted Android auto & Carplay & metra was the only one which makes dask kit for my car as of now. The box consists of the dash trim, single din cover box with screws, mounting brackets & manual. Finish of the trim piece is perfect as the OEM. Great job metra on this. The kit does not come with clips & you have to use the fitting clips from the OEM trim which is not a big deal. The mounting brackets are somewhat flimsy, wish metra made them little more stiffer.But gets the job done. The part on the right side where the trim curves has machining issues. Its not as good as OEM & tend to leave a gap when the outer trip piece (with the air vent) is attached. Also, notice in the photo the trim fitting hook for metra is very narrow as compared to OEM. This caused some fitment issues. For me I have a small part of this trim which bulges up near the right side vent. I tried the the fitting for 2 hrs but could not get its because of the machining issues. Hope metra fixes them.
