I thought I was going to have a hard time with this Harness. But to my surprise with the help of Crutchfields Techs. It was a breeze after I asked for help. Their service and products are the best. You pay for the best and you get the best. They say 2 day shipping and it was.
Pros: It really wasn't complicated as I thought it would be.
Cons: Not one Con at this time.

Instructions were vague but after little back and forth got it to work. Wire factory amp to ignition switch wires and wire ring terminal to chassis (mine didn't have one) or behind dash to work or it will not! Also wiring to ring ground to harness ground will work but not good

Product showed up quickly. Interface did not work. Needed to be replaced, which caused additional time and money. Antennae was also not provided, so I had to purchase that from the installler separately
Pros: Good customer Service. Quick shipping
Cons: Product was not fully functional. Interface had to be replaced and caused me additional time and money.

Plug and Play.....what a joke

Over a week into trying to get this system to work in a 2010 Equinox and I quit. The first GMOS-044 had a short where properly grounding the unit cut the power to the stereo. Crutchfield sent a new one. The second worked but was quirky in terms of stereo power and chime function. I wasn't confident so I left it installed for a few days without closing everything up. It discharged the battery with the key out of the ignition. As a result, one of the car battery cells failed ($175 for a new battery). The wiring harness connections were Crutchfield's work which was wired correctly (troubleshooting by tech support more than once). I returned the Axxess system it along with all the other stereo components. Don't trust this system. See my recent saga in the remote car starter reviews. Again issues with aftermarket devices intended to interface with the factory design. I am no longer a Crutchfield customer.
Pros: None. It never worked correctly.
Cons: Unreliable

Pretty easy install on 2013 chevy equinox ls
Crutchfield customer from Cheektowaga, NY on 12/8/2021
2013 Chevrolet Equinox
Wasn't that hard to do I had an atoto a6 pro amd had trouble with the steering wheel wiring and for the record u can not use the 3.5mm jack connection for this unit u have to physically connect the wires so of u are installing a atoto a6 pro no need for the steering wheel control harness it doesn't work with this unit. Other wise all chimes are good the wires was pretty short i wish they would supply atleast the 6 inches everything was pretty easy . You don't get to keep your aux but your usb still works. It was my first time and im a female so yeah..
Pros: Easy install
Cons: Short wires not enouph lenth to be able to reinstall it if i ever switch cars ill have to extend them or buy another harness

Great and Satisfied
Crutchfield customer from Shillington, PA on 5/3/2021
2010 GMC Terrain
I would like to start off with I am a novice at this stuff. I do not do much wiring work but I enjoy tinkering on cars and try my hand at this stuff at times. Crutchfield is extremely helpful and clear with their instructions. I used this wiring interface with the Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX system for my 2010 GMC Terrain and it worked out fantastic!! The wiring interface is easy to put together and just requires a little patience. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the wiring interface and how well I was able to integrate it into the new system with no hiccups.

Ok but...
Guest from Wausau, WI on 7/11/2019
2016 Chevrolet Cruze
Honestly wanted to like it but now the screen above the HU goes to car settings randomly and drives me up the wall, plus if you want to amp your speakers the factory chimes go through one of the front spealers so it will be amplified, if I had it to do all over again I would spend 40-50 bucks more and get the idatalink rr and gm install kit.
Pros: Works kinda
Cons: Starting to do quirky things

So a lil advice if installing in gm and is plugged in the radio comes on without key you need to attach ground cable and will work as supose to and if you add steering wheel adapter it may take a few restarts to program
Pros: Keep factory screen working and all chimes and sounds working
Cons: Not great install guide needs more details

Crutchfield customer from Bradenton, FL on 7/12/2018
Spent the better half of my week and a half trying to figure out the wiring, then come to find out that you have to guess most of the wiring so that sucks. The fact that I had to do continuous revisions to the wiring harness and to see that all it did was do half job shows that this harness needs revision because it doesn't work properly. I want a refund

Everything I needed

Great item, easy to install if you have a common grasp of matching colors and reading the diagram, everything works on my chevy cruze limited except the steering wheel controls and xm radio which im not crying over. You can adjust your time and date, and other vehicle settings using your steering wheel controls just youtube or google how and its easy.
Pros: Simple to install
Cons: Kind of clunky and stiff, would be better if they didn't tessa tape it into oblivion.

This harness and the associated mass of wires works flawlessly combined with the Sony XAV-712HD, in my 2014 Chevy Cruze LT/RS. And be sure to read the diagram, it shows you exactly how the wires connect.
Pros: Easy to follow diagram. Works perfectly
Cons: Takes up space. More of a my vehicle design issue, but it tucks away.

Decent install time, good sound retention. Makes squealing noises when vehicle first starts up.
Pros: Easy install. Retains function of monochrome display for the econ and external temp display.
Cons: Ground wire for the gmos box is far far to sensitive to system noise from the head unit it self.

Solid interface.
Crutchfield customer from Denver, CO on 2/22/2015
2011 Chevrolet Cruze
The interface works as it should. It retains factory functions and is easy to connect. One recommendation is that if you don't have factory steering wheels controls, get the control stalk from Axxess. If you don't you won't be able to adjust date and time on the factory display rendering the unit useless other than the factory chimes.
Pros: None
Cons: None
