You must install a car stereo with a rear USB port .

Features
AUX/USB Adapter Harness: The Axxess Integrate AX-NISUSB AUX/USB adapter harness is used when you want to retain the factory USB port & Aux input in select Nissan vehicles, when replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket stereo that features a rear USB port & Aux input.
- If your aftermarket stereo features a minijack (3.5mm) aux input, you will also need a female RCA to male stereo minijack adapter (sold separately).
- As long as your new car stereo has a high-amperage charging port (1.5A or greater), this USB adapter harness should support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto operation. However, the number of variables involved means we can't guarantee compatibility.
Vehicle Compatibility: The AX-NISUSB AUX/USB adapter harness can be used in the following Nissan vehicles with factory USB port & Aux input (as of 7/30/15).
