Useless Adapter

I purchased this adapter to use with my Sony XAV-AX6000. I installed it and connected it to the head unit. The factory USB port only charged my phone, and did not connect to the head unit. I figured the charging feature was good enough, but when I checked the connections, I realized that you don't even need it to be plugged in to charge your phone. The adapter is useless, and I'm out this much since I didn't hold onto the box to return. Don't purchase for your Subaru.

Pros: Great quality.

Cons: Doesn't work as intended.

This does not work with Subaru vehicles, it allows charging but will not connect with the radio.

Pros: Allows charging of phone from stock USB inputs.

Cons: Will not allow connection between aftermarket radio and phone.

This USB adapter did not work with my Subaru and Pioneer radio install. My Subaru dual USB input did not function with the radio

The connection did not work I had to run usb wire directly from the radio to that dash. Now works , but I had to cut a hole to set the wire through.
