Perfect size for my car just realize that one is bigger than the other it's supposed to be that way so you don't mix them up bigger one is positive and smaller one is negative.

Just what you need, when you order an XS battery! When I originally ordered, it said two days, woke up the next morning to an email stating, they were overnighted, to my surprise, when I got home, they were waiting for me! Highly recommend them and this company!

Not a fan of these add on posts to their battery. The shorts are same height as stock battery posts. It just makes connection problems more prevalent. But, you don't have a choice since the batteries are made without posts! No complaints about the battery,it just opens itself up to possible poor connection problems especially over time. There may be a reason its done this way I'm not aware of but just stating what I perceive from experience. (IMO)

Received the XS agm battery in the time frame stated. Crutchfield has done an amazing job, particularly in customer service. Products may vary in performance but there is a quality to the items that Crutchfield displays. The XS series batteries are phenomenal lead acid agm batteries. . If Crutchfield carries an item you desire it becomes the gauge for me to know if it is really good or not and their team will address the problem in a fair and professional manner . I have been with them since 1980 and I am a bonafide audiophile. Crutchfield caters to my desires. The rest is up to me and my creativity as a meticulous installer.
Pros: Great service Great quality.
Cons: One of human nature, since desire meets one of cost efficiency. That periodically there can be a sale on the more expensive items so that one can either hear or see what makes the best so exclusive. You can then realize that it is your personal taste that may be exclusive.

They work with the battery but only issue are the size difference different terminal had to be used on the negative since post is smaller and OEM connection do not work

The posts do secure to the battery well but you will probably need "shims" to help secure your terminals to these posts.

The part did not correctly fit my terminals on my battery cables I'd had to modify one and go buy another 1. There was nothing in the ad that said when I bought it that they were going to be so different from my terminals

I had to buy new battery terminal ends for the negative because they didn't fit my 17 f150 correctly. The locking washers were to big, but i had some smaller ones on hand.

Defective. The posts I received are not the same dimensions as what the XS Power CAD drawings show. Called XSPower and they are sending me the tall posts because they don't even have the short ones. These will be a return.

BEWARE! The posts are not the same size!! The packaging doesn't warn you and the posts don't seem to be marked. As I had installed initially, positive was too thin and the clamp wouldn't tighten even screwed all the way down. Squeezed the clamps in a bit and got it to work only to find out that the other post was too large. -_- Swapped the posts and had to open and slightly file at the positive clamp and it worked. Negative went on without a hitch. Side note for anyone interested:XSPower D4700 battery fits a 2010 Chevy Cobalt.
Pros: Works once you figure out which side goes where.
Cons: Posts aren't marked Packaging doesn't indicate that the posts differ in size.

These brass battery posted are constructed well. I have a kill switch on my car. I wanted to modify it to my needs. The brass battery post I found threw Crutchfield allowed me to do this without a problem. Thanks Crutchfield

No issues with install, make sure not to over tighten them per instructions.
Pros: Good solid connections, easy to install.
Cons: I guess I've read that some people have trouble making their terminal leads fit, but I didn't have any issues with mine fitting. I guess if there was any issue with it at all, it would be the rounded shape of them. Why not make them a straight cylindrical tube shape?

I ordered this item for use with a small battery in a car prepared for autocross competition. The vehicle uses standard OEM SAE battery terminals on the battery cables. The cables are less than a year old, purchased new from the vehicle manufacturer and remain in like new condition (not stretched). I installed the posts on the battery and then attempted to attach the terminals to the posts. The clamping bolts on the terminals were tightened completely, and the terminals would not pull snugly against the posts. I removed the new battery and compared it to the standard OEM battery, and found that both the XS Power positive and negative posts were 1.5 mm undersized. And the taper from the base of the terminals to the top is much, much sharper than a standard SAE battery terminal. The XS battery posts are unusable with any standard size terminals or OEM battery cables.

Cons: Too small in diameter, ~7% under standard SAE. Manufacturer's defect.

Works well, they are different sizes for common battery posts that use different size posts to keep you from accidentally installing with reverse polarity, so when installing put the wider diameter one on the positive terminal.
Pros: Perfect fitment to OEM posts.
Cons: Could be made out of aluminum for better power transfer.
