Here comes the Boom! Talk about solid performance and a huge difference with just a stock alternator (135) which should be enough barely to charge both batteries. However. I have a Interstate 500 AMP battery under the hood. I need a matching battery. I do have a regulator. Using a Recoil 500 AMP capacitor. That with this XP3000. I get strong in and out-put throughout the entire hour at three quarters volume. I haven't tested the drop comparison yet. But, the numbers are 14-14.4 volts solid, but mostly 14.4. And, pushing a CT-Meso 12" 1500 RMS at 1 ohm, have a Skar 15001D, using 1/0 on all my terminals, and a Tara 400x4 for the mids. My box is tuned to 30hz. Using a 4.14 cubic feet ported lyberth custom subwoofer box. To a 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback. Using just one sub. This battery is fantastic. If anyone thinks their audio system sounds great with just an amp and one or two subs sounds good. Once you hook up this battery and put it together as I have. I did all my install myself. Pros: Incredible performance, reliable, good with tight spaces, low heat, and powerful.
Cons: Heavy at 73 IBS, big (that's expected), and decent terminals, need to be sure to torque down by hand, the screw tight but not over doing it. Can come undone easy.

Worked well for a little over a year.. Went bad, was maintained on a NOCO Genius battery charger/maintainer. If it lasted longer I would have given 5 Stars.
Pros: Supported 2 amps easily

Have this installed in a Chevy cobalt as a 2nd battery. Have a jl audio hd 600/4 amp along with a sundown sae 3000d and it manages to keep the voltage up where it should be.

If you have a stereo system with a decent size amp this battery is a must. Because you always need to have power on deck

The battery easily meets expectations. I use this to power my boat stereo that has 1700+ Watts RMS. This battery lasts a long time.
