Inputs and Outputs Notes
Internal Crossovers: The amplifier's internal front and rear crossovers are 12dB/octave filters, independently selectable for high-pass, low-pass, or full-range operation. Each crossover is fixed at 80 Hz.
Preamp Outputs: The preamp output jacks provide a convenient source for daisy-chaining an additional amplifier without running an extra set of RCA cables from the front of the vehicle to the amplifier location. These outputs provide a full-range signal.
BFC (Beat Frequency Control) Switch: If you hear a beat while listening to an AM broadcast with your car stereo, change the BFC switch using a small standard tip screwdriver. The switch is located to the right of the speaker output terminals.
Power Connections: The power and ground connections are 0.531" wide screw terminals that will accommodate up to 4-gauge wire. The remote turn-on terminal is 0.325" wide and will accept up to 8-gauge wire. A Phillips-head or flat blade screw driver (not supplied) is required to tighten/loosen the terminals. Spade connectors are recommended for the power, ground, and remote wires.
Speaker Connections: The speaker terminals are also 0.325" wide and will accommodate up to 8-gauge wire. A Phillips-head or flat blade screw driver (not supplied) is required to tighten/loosen the terminals. Spade connectors are recommended for the speaker wires.
