great midrange with coil wire noise

This speaker is great for someone who is looking for midrange only. The problem is the speaker design. I'm not sure if it's the length of the speaker cone wire or if it's too flimsy. It will make a noise either from hitting the cone or vibration. It happens at all frequencies & at low power.

I'm not in love with the tweeters. They are rather weak/soft sounding, not at all crisp like normal tweeters. I have the C1-650x speakers in the rear deck and they sound great, so I'll probably replace the Pioneers with JL Audio C1-650. For reference, my front end is a Kenwood DMX7709s; no external amp.

Solid speakers

Speakers have a great sound with good bass response and nice mid and high range as well. The tweeters fit perfectly in my Fiesta door panels. Easy install.

False advertising

Website says speakers fit 2018 ford escape but everything they sent me doesn't fit.

Pioneer TS-A1601C in front and rear doors

Replaced front and rear speakers in a 2002 gmc Yukon. Original speakers were blown.they sounded horrible. Used the brackets that came with the new speakers. Hollowed out the original tweeters brackets and installed the new tweeters[ in the front doors] . Did not use the tweeters for the back doors. Tested the new speakers. Sounded pretty good.
