Installed to replace stock speakers in Ram1500 Classic, the sound quality is fantastic on the stock in-amplified radio. The sound is more full, the level of sound did not change and possibly a bit lower than stock speakers but the lower volume is easily cancels out by the better range and separation of frequencies.

Sad day

Pretty clear but no lows just highs. I expected much more than this over my stock speakers. I guess I'll go back to the stock speakers for now.

2017 Ram 1500 quad cab install

These speakers fit perfectly in the factory opening and required no modifications. Sounds much better then the stock ones. I did get the suggested wire adapter and the made it truly plug and play. I did wire tie the excess adapter wire back to the speakers just to keep it away from the window regulator.

Great sound upgrade

Use these to replace some stock, Nissan speakers, and what a huge improvement and sound. Well worth the money! The instructions from Crutchfield were good, and I supplemented with a YouTube video. Getting the free wiring harness from Crutchfield was also a big timesaver.

Very Satisfied

I purchased these speakers to replace JBL Club 9630 speakers in front and rear doors of my 2018 Dodge Ram. I liked the JBL Club speakers very much but one was damaged, I couldn't find same models and the newest model of the JBLs are too deep to fit front doors. These speakers are perfect plug and play for the 2018 Ram trucks. Holes line up perfectly and the supplied connectors make install super easy. Most people don't know that these trucks don't have a full range signal sent to the front door speakers and sometimes are disappointed with upgraded speakers. I had my dash speakers wired directly to the head unit so no longer run in parallel to the doors and have all four door speakers receiving a full range signal from a Kicker amplifier now. These speakers do everything well. They supply plenty of bass and it is accurate. The tweeters in the JBLs I replaced were a bit harsh but the tweeters in these are a little easier on the ears. I listen to Rock and Country music primarily and in my opinion these Pioneers are great speakers for those genres. They are plenty loud with an amp and there is no distortion at volume as loud as I am comfortable listening too.

Wonderful performing speakers. Simple to set up and a delightful listening experience. Fantastic bang for the buck Makes your car a concert hall. Resonance can be heard during silence in between music. Harmonics are present. Works well without a lot of power too.

Work Van Upgrade

Installed 4 of these, in speaker boxes, running 75 watts RMS, in our work van: Awesome. Just freaking awesome. Mainly listen to Classic Rock, Rock, Metal, Alternative (and some Techno after installing these speakers). They handle the highs and mids to perfection. The bass, is really good for a 6x9. They have a clear punch, and a really tight response. At 75watt RMS: The speakers can handle almost anything at full volume without distortion. They are loud, and they're clear, and running an amp is the only way to go.

Ok sound but kinda blah sounding

These were installed in the front doors of my 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad cab truck. Very few 6x9 speakers fit in the front doors because of the window tracks. I was disappointed in the sound of these. They're ok sounding but I think I would of rather just left the basic stock speakers in. The highs and mid range are only slightly better then the stock speakers. It was very hard trying to find replacement speakers for the front doors on this truck. If you have the space in your vehicle spend a little more and get the Optimis Primus speakers.

Easy install for great sound upgrade.

Great products. I've been a Crutchfield customer for over 30 years. However I just installed these Pioneer TS A962F in my Ram Truck. I can honestly say that these speakers sounds great with the factory head unit. Truly plug and play thanks to Crutchfield supplying the wires with factory plugs for the connection. I might upgrade my sons cars because it was so easy.

Great stock speaker replacement

Great replacement for my 2007 Lexus ES350. Sounds really nice. Has some bass to it too. These are definitely worth the purchase. Especially for the great price. We wanted a simple replacement speaker, nothing fancy. These were perfect. Much better sound than OEM. I have to say that one of the best things about this purchase was the detailed installation instructions. Installation took me about 20 minutes. Without the instructions I know it would have taken me 3 times as long. Know we're thing of replacing the rear speakers too.

I'm a believer!

What can I say? Actually, it was because of all the great reviews I read all over the web about how a relatively small investment could make such a big difference. From speedy delivery to the solid packaging and ease of installation, these awesome speakers replaced what I thought were great sounding factory speakers! Highs and lows are now well defined with crisp and solid bass tones. Turn them up...!!!, you won't be disappointed...!!!

Awesome speakers for $

Bought these to replace the stock rear speakers in my 06 Monte Carlo. WOW what a difference! The price didn't break the bank and the sound was amazing even using the stock head unit. I used the available compare speakers app Crutchfield provides and singled these out from 5 pair I had picked out. It gave me the chance to pick which set gave the sound I was looking for. Love these and now its time to pair with a new head unit.

The speakers are what I needed for a clearance problem for a 79 Corvette rear factory enclosure. I had a pair of TS-A6990F but the magnet was to large to clear the frame of the rear pull-out curtain. The speakers are attached with 5/8's inch tubing to clear the front original grilles.

I just installed these speakers to my 2007 Camry with JBL system and what a difference. Since the rear speakers has two sets of wires on each side due to the JBL feature (two for the tweeter and the other two for the mid-range/woofer), I had to splice the tweeter cables straight to the tweeter cables from the speakers (some cutting and splicing involved). I first spliced together the wires coming out from the amp but the sound was garbage. If you have a Toyota with JBL system, you must do what I did to get a decent sound out of any aftermarket replacement speakers if you are not replacing the amp. I am getting a second set of this speakers for my doors and I am betting these Pioneer's will be converting my car to a concert hall with crisp and clear sound.

I replace my rear factory speakers with the T-S-A692F. There was a noticeable change over the original speakers, but with the current factory radio I know the speakers are not being feed enough power to hear their full potential. I look forward to hearing them after adding a new receiver and amp.

Better than stock

Good choice to replace factory 6"x9" rear deck speakers. Noticeably better musicality than stock and fulfilled my expectations. If I want significantly better bass response, I'll need to incorporate subwoofer(s) into the system and a dedicated amp. But after 20 years of driving my '99 Pontiac, I took the plunge to upgrade the original speakers by myself. Happy to drive around with better sound and only kicking myself I waited so long.

Great speakers for Ram truck

I went down to my local stereo dealer to get a quote on replacing the speakers on my new 2019 Ram 1500 Classic quad cab truck. The stock (non-Alpine) speakers in the truck sounded cheap and easily distorted aver turning the volume up to a 'I love this song' level. Anyway, their plan was to include two sets of Access brand coaxial speakers, an amp, an amp integration unit and a Stealth box single under-seat subwoofer. Their quote was just a little over $3,200, which included installation costs that totaled $625. I decided to try these Pioneers, in stead, having been happy with the brand in a previous vehicle. I also saved beau coup bucks by watching videos on the installation process and doing it myself. The speakers are excellent! I have a tin ear, but I can now discern the high notes. And the bass is no less than booming. I can literally feel the rumble in the cab even with the bass set at standard/flat EQ levels, without distortion. It made a huge difference in quality over stock and I highly recommend them. Crutchfield shipped them to me within two days, just before Xmas, which was quite a feat. They even included a step by step guide specific to my vehicle, too. Bottom line: two thumbs way up!

Outstanding Clarity

I used to speakers to upgrade from the blatantly horrible stock gm speakers and I have to say that it was honestly a good idea. They're very clear sounding and have a decent amount of low end but where they really shine is in the mids and highs. They sound really crisp and clean and pair very well with a sub to create an overall very good sound. They don't have bass that'll shake your mirrors or anything like that but they are more better at adding to the overall sound. For example my dad has a bmw and I can personally say that these speakers paired with similar door speakers sound way better than anything I've heard from that bmw. Bmw's are also known for having good sound but these speakers sound super clear and are also very loud and can handle high volumes with ease. I would definitely recommend these speakers if you're looking for a complete and wholesome sound.

Pioneer 4 way 6x9

Installed 2 weeks ago and I really enjoy them. Compared to factory these have a much fuller sound, much better highs and mids. Installation was easy. They are efficient, however they are higher wattage. I've noticed they don't get as loud as the factory speakers. They could use a small amp. Overall I like them and the sound quality has improved immensely

Install was an absolete breeze! Crutchfield included, for free, the wire harness so these plugged right in. A definite improvement over stock tradesman stereo! Cant beat the price vs. quality!!!

A lot better (and cheaper) than factory.

It's much better than the stock rear deck speakers on the corolla. It has nice crisp highs, and enough smooth bass to satisfy me. It's no sub, but it's good enough. I advise you buy some Amazon brackets and some longer bolts for them. Factory bolts are rather short, and if you insulate your bracket and speakers with foam tape, they won't reach. It takes a while to get it dialed in, but once you're there, it's a very nice upgrade for the money. Sadly getting nice highs and lows will trade off with you losing some midrange. I try to have the factory front door speakers compensate for them a bit, it works out in the end. Having a small car will ensure your head is all over the rear window, bring a rag and some windex.
