They built the TS-D10D4 10" subwoofer to handle up to 500 watts RMS, while it dishes out impressive low-frequency punch. This sub features an injection-molded polypropylene cone that's impregnated with Aramid fibers for exceptional precision and strength. A butyl rubber surround supports the woofer during cone excursion so you'll get accurate, hard-hitting bass notes even when the music's turned up loud. The sub's dual 4-ohm voice coils give you more wiring options when setting up your system.

Features
Woofer Cone: Pioneer uses aramid fiber interlaced injection molded polypropylene (IMPP) for the cone, making it more rigid than polypropylene alone.
Dual 4Ω Voice Coils: This woofer features two 4Ω voice coils, offering wiring flexibility. When the voice coils are wired in parallel, the woofer presents a 2Ω load; when wired in series, the woofer presents an 8Ω load.
Terminals: The spring post terminals will accept pin connectors, single banana plugs, or bare wire up to 10 gauge.
Sealed Box Volume: The sealed box sizes recommended by Pioneer range from 0.5 ft³ to 0.8 ft³; within this range the ideal size is 0.7 ft³.
Vented Box Volume: The vented box sizes recommended by Pioneer range from 0.6ft³ to 0.8 ft³; within this range the ideal size is 0.7 ft³ with a single 2" diameter x 5" long port.
Double-stacked Magnet: The woofer uses double-stacked magnets to create a powerful magnetic force. This increases the control exerted over the voice coil.
Free-Air: The woofer can also be mounted in free air to a baffle board (infinite baffle, no enclosure). When mounted in free air, the power handling is reduced by 75% (to 125 watts).
Measurements: When mounting the woofer without the trim ring, the dimensions change as follows:
