Future proof for upgrading

Surprised how good these sound with my factory headunit only pushing 25W, I may procrastinate even longer getting a proper amp\head unit. imagine how good they will sound with an amp. I am now future proofed when I do.

Wish Boston Acoustic still did auto sound
Crutchfield customer from Sahuarita, AZ on 4/12/2021
2001 Ford F-150
These are very good speakers for the price, I am replacing my Boston acoustic SR80 plates after almost ten years and I am having a hard time finding a speaker that I Iike as well as those. These have a different sound, but a sound that I am starting to enjoy, they do need to be broken in, 20 to 40 hours . I thought I would try and upgrade from these so I tried the Alpine R series 6x8 but they are going to go back because I actually like the sound of these better and by quite a lot.
Pros: Clear, precise, open, detailed.
Cons: A little lively but not to bright.

Really nice speakers.
Crutchfield customer from MAUGANSVILLE, MD on 11/17/2020
1996 Ford F Series
I bought these to replace a blown older set of Sony XPLOD's and the difference in sound quality is amazing. These speakers really produce good bass, mid-range and highs. They have a much better overall sound than the A-series I purchased for one of my kid's car. At this price point it would be difficult to purchase better speakers as they very comparable to others costing 50% more. Paired these with a new Kenwood head unit and compact amp and they'll handled everything I've thrown at them with ease. Pioneer did a great job designing these speakers.
Pros: Clean, crisp sound with good bass.
Cons: None.

13 Mustang replacement speakers
Crutchfield customer from Ellicott City, MD on 9/12/2020
2013 Ford Mustang
The sound quality difference between these speakers and the 13 Mustang base factory speakers is night and day. Spend some time adjusting the crossovers on the head unit makes all the difference in the world! Hearing sounds and detail in the music I didn't even know was there, very clear, handles the MTX Thunder 75 watt RMS power easily.
Pros: Sound quality is amazing over the factory speakers.
Cons: None

Superb highs and lows!
Crutchfield customer from Acton, MA on 3/12/2019
2011 Ford Crown Victoria
Initial thoughts on the TS-D68F coaxial speakers from pioneer are that out of the box i knew they were very high quality. Structurally sounds and the tweeter was made from great materials on first touch. Mids to upper highs are the best part about these speakers. I paired then up with an alpine cd reciever double din for my crown victoria and the sound is simply jaw dropping for just those 2 upgrades. On the lower end you have to really crank the speaker up loud to feel the bass. Even with tampering around with the 9 band on the alpine i still need to crank it up to fully be the upmost happy i can be with these. But I'm sure with a nice amp and sub systems these will really shine! Don't skimp on price because it is true that what you pay is what you get especially with audio equipment.
Pros: Excellent high and mid response.
Cons: Need to turn up the speakers to feel the bass really good. Will definitely need an amp and sub setup.

Excellent sound it's an obvious upgrade from factory in sound, clarity & loudness! Definitely recommend!
Pros: Sound quality is great, loudness is definitely great (will barely hear yourself singing with the volume up), bass improved too which I wasn't expecting a highly noticable diffrence
Cons: None
